Abstract:
The invention concerns a pump module, a pump base module and a pump system which comprises a pump module and a pump base module. The invention-base pump module (1) comprises a linear pump channel (5) which is curved at least in sections, a pump channel inlet (6) and a pump channel outlet (7), wherein the pump channel inlet (6) and the pump channel outlet (7) are connected with the pump channel (5) for supplying a fluid into the pump channel (5) and discharging a fluid from the pump channel (5), so that through a periodically rotating deformation of the membrane (4) a fluid can be pumped through the pump channel (5) from the pump channel inlet (6) to the pump channel outlet (7), wherein in the section between the pump channel inlet (6) and the pump channel outlet (7) the pump channel (5) is designed in a way that differs from a genuine circular design.
Abstract:
An ink jet printer ink comprising effect pigments and organic solvents or solvent mixtures, wherein the effect pigments comprise a) aluminum effect pigments having a mean thickness in a range of 10 to 100 μm and a d98 value of the cumulative frequency distribution of the volume-averaged size distribution function of less than 15 μm and/or b) pearlescent pigments having a d90 value of the cumulative frequency distribution of the volume-averaged size distribution in a range of 3.5 to 15 μm. The viscosity of the ink jet printer ink is 1 to 50 mPa*s and the weight ratio of effect pigment to binder is 2 to 15. The invention further relates to the use of the ink jet printer ink.
Abstract:
A pointing device that can interface with a graphical user interface of a computer or other electronic device. The pointing device includes a body having an upper portion and an underside. Also included is a tracking assembly having at least one sensor to detect movement and output a control signal responsive to the detected movement. The pointing device further includes several customization features. The customization features include mechanical customization features and software customization features. At least some of the mechanical customization features are configured to be replaceable. Such replaceable customization features are releasably mechanically coupled to the pointing device body.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a system of identifying an unauthorized use of a telematic device or a vehicle equipped with a telematic device. The telematic device includes an identification code, which is transmitted to a service provider. The identification codes of those telematic devices, which have been reported as being used in unauthorized, are stored at the service provider. The identification codes received at the service provider is compared for a match with the stored identification codes.
Abstract:
New and improved microwave plasma assisted reactors, for example chemical vapor deposition (MPCVD) reactors, are disclosed. The disclosed microwave plasma assisted reactors operate at pressures ranging from about 10 Torr to about 760 Torr. The disclosed microwave plasma assisted reactors include a movable lower sliding short and/or a reduced diameter conductive stage in a coaxial cavity of a plasma chamber. For a particular application, the lower sliding short position and/or the conductive stage diameter can be variably selected such that, relative to conventional reactors, the reactors can be tuned to operate over larger substrate areas, operate at higher pressures, and discharge absorbed power densities with increased diamond synthesis rates (carats per hour) and increased deposition uniformity.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method of regenerating a ruthenium catalyst suitable for hydrogenation, which comprises flushing the catalyst with inert gas in a regeneration step until the original activity or part of the original activity has been attained. The method is particularly useful for ruthenium catalysts which are used for the hydrogenation of aromatics.
Abstract:
The present patent application describes a method of regenerating a ruthenium catalyst for the hydrogenation of benzene, which comprises flushing the catalyst with inert gas in a regeneration step until the original activity or part of the original activity has been attained.
Abstract:
A sensor housing (1) includes a basic body (2) and two tube sections (4, 9) projecting from the basic body (2). At least a first one (4; 9) of the tube sections has an outside thread which is interrupted in circumferential direction by at least one recessed facet (15, 17; 19, 20). The facet (15, 17; 19, 20) extends—from a center plane of the first tube section (4; 9) being parallel to the longitudinal axis of the second tube section (9; 4)—on at least one side of this center plane essentially perpendicularly to it.
Abstract:
This invention includes compositions and methods for combination cancer treatments, particularly involving at least one cytotoxic agent used in combination with an anti-PSMA monoclonal antibody.
