Abstract: A novel functional panel that is highly convenient, useful, or reliable is provided. The functional panel includes a base material and a pair of pixels, and the base material covers the pair of pixels and has a light-transmitting property. The pair of pixels includes one pixel and another pixel, and the one pixel includes a light-emitting device and a first microlens. The light-emitting device emits light toward the base material, and the first microlens is interposed between the base material and the light emission and converges light. The first microlens includes a first surface and a second surface; the second surface is closer to the light-emitting device than the first surface is; and the second surface has a smaller radius of curvature than the first surface. The other pixel includes a photoelectric conversion device and a second microlens. The second microlens is interposed between the base material and the photoelectric conversion and converges external light incident from the base material side. The second microlens includes a third surface and a fourth surface; the third surface is closer to the photoelectric conversion device than the fourth surface is; and the fourth surface has a smaller radius of curvature than the third surface.

Abstract: An optical device with less influence of stray light is provided. The optical device is thin and includes a half mirror, a first lens, a retardation plate, a reflective polarizing plate, and a second lens. In the optical device, a geometric phase lens which has negative and positive refractive power is used as the first lens, whereby images can be focused after magnified optically. Thus, the optical device can have a wide viewing angle. In the case where stray light occurs due to birefringence of an optical material, negative refractive power of the first lens can prevent the stray light from being focused on the eye direction. Accordingly, image degradation recognized due to stray light can be prevented.

Abstract: A novel optical functional device that is highly convenient, useful, or reliable is provided. At a second wavelength, the intensity of the first emission spectrum is 80% of the maximum peak. The photoelectric conversion function has a spectral sensitivity characteristic; at a third wavelength, the spectral sensitivity characteristic has a maximum sensitivity within a range of 420 to 720 nm inclusive; and at a fourth wavelength, the sensitivity of the spectral sensitivity characteristic is 80% of the maximum sensitivity. The third wavelength is positioned closer to the second wavelength than to the first wavelength, and the fourth wavelength is positioned closer to the first wavelength than to the third wavelength.

Abstract: A thin lightweight imaging device is provided. A highly convenient imaging device is provided. The imaging unit includes an imaging unit, a memory, and an arithmetic circuit. The imaging unit includes a light-receiving device, a first light-emitting device, and a second light-emitting device. The first light-emitting device has a function of emitting light in a wavelength range that is different from a wavelength range of light emitted by the second light-emitting device. The imaging unit has a function of making the first light-emitting device emit light and acquiring first image data. The imaging unit has a function of making the second light-emitting device emit light and acquiring second image data. The memory has a function of retaining the first reference data and the second reference data. The arithmetic circuit has a function of correcting the first image data with the use of the first reference data retained in the memory and calculating first correction image data. The arithmetic circuit has a function of correcting the second image data with the use of the second reference data retained in the memory and calculating second correction image data. The arithmetic circuit has a function of combining the first correction image data and the second correction image data to generate synthesized image data. The light-receiving device includes a first pixel electrode, and the first light-emitting device includes a second pixel electrode on the same plane as the first pixel electrode.
