    摘要: A system is provided within an electrophotographic imaging environment that removes or decomposes airborne hydrocarbons (as vapor and/or droplets), at least some of which are provided from evaporation or airborne dispersal of hydrocarbon carrier from electrophotographic toners or inks during and imaging process. The system comprises a catalyst that assists in the oxidation or decomposition of hydrocarbons and a (catalyst and vapor phase) heating and oxygen-providing components comprising an chemical oxygen-generator. The chemical reaction that occurs in the oxygen generation provides both a) immediate and significant amounts of heat that heats both the catalyst and the gas phase containing the hydrocarbon and the oxygen and b) oxygen to assist in the decomposition and/or oxidation of the hydrocarbon and other airborne materials.

    摘要: Negative liquid electrographic toner compositions are provided comprising a liquid carrier having a Kauri-Butanol number less than about 30 mL and a plurality of negatively charged toner particles dispersed in the liquid carrier. The toner particles comprise a polymeric binder comprising at least one amphipathic graft copolymer comprising one or more S material portions and one or more D material portions. The toner composition additionally comprises a charge control adjuvant that is an acid or a base. These compositions have surprising bulk conductivity and charge per mass properties, particularly as the toner particles are depleted from the toner composition during printing operations.

    摘要: An RF ablation apparatus has a delivery catheter with a delivery catheter lumen and a delivery catheter distal end. A first RF electrode is positioned in the delivery catheter lumen. The first RF electrode has a distal end, RF conductive surface, and a lumen. A second RF electrode has a distal end. The second RF electrode is at least partially positioned in the lumen of the first catheter, with its distal end positioned at the exterior of the first RF electrode distal end. Additionally, the second RF electrode distal end has a geometry that permits it to be substantially a groundpad. The distal end of the first RF electrode is moved in a direction away from the second RF electrode distal end to create a painting effect of an ablation band or line between the two distal ends. Alternatively, the distal end of the second RF electrode can be moved in a direction away from the distal end of the first RF electrode. An RF insulative sleeve or coating is placed or positioned along a second RF electrode conductive surface where it is substantially adjacent to the first electrode conductive surface. An RF power source is coupled to the first and second RF electrodes.
