摘要: A transfer paper which comprises a transfer paper base and a disperse dye ink printed thereon or imparted thereto. The transfer paper is used in a dry transfer printing method in which the transfer paper is pressed against a synthetic fibrous material with heating to thereby transfer the dye (pattern) from the transfer paper to the fibrous material. The transfer paper is characterized in that the transfer paper base has a releasant layer comprising a synthetic resin soluble in organic solvents and an ink-receiving layer made from a mixture comprising a hydrophilic synthetic resin which softens or melts upon heating, a hydrophilic binder, and various aids, the ink-receiving layer being superposed on the releasant layer. With this transfer paper for dry transfer printing, a highly fine pattern can be printed with excellent reproducibility. Furthermore, the transfer paper enables quick delivery by so-called printing without platemaking. The method of dry transfer plating employs this transfer paper.

摘要: An RLL demodulator for performing RLL demodulation on primary modulation data performs hard demodulation outside an iterative decoding loop. Further, decoding in compliance with a constraint concerning a PR transfer characteristic is performed by a PR-channel APP detector which performs iterative decoding by repeatedly feeding and receiving a priori information regarding the primary modulation data to and from an APP decoder for error-correcting codes.

摘要: A nitride semiconductor laser device uses a substrate with low defect density, contains reduced strains inside a nitride semiconductor film, and thus offers a satisfactorily long useful life. On a GaN substrate (10) with a defect density as low as 106 cm−2 or less, a stripe-shaped depressed portion (16) is formed by etching. On this substrate (10), a nitride semiconductor film (11) is grown, and a laser stripe (12) is formed off the area right above the depressed portion (16). With this structure, the laser stripe (12) is free from strains, and the semiconductor laser device offers a long useful life. Moreover, the nitride semiconductor film (11) develops reduced cracks, resulting in a greatly increased yield rate.

摘要: A single imaging apparatus is adapted to pick up both a motion image and a still image. In an imaging apparatus 1, image light from an object is separated into multiple monochromatic image light components by an optical system 3 and then imaged by an imaging means 4 for generation of an original image signal. The imaging apparatus 1 switches an imaging mode depending upon an output mode. The optical system 3 switches the sate of a variable spatial filter 18 depending upon an imaging mode thereby changing an effect for limiting the spatial frequency. In an output mode for motion images, an interpolative synthesizer circuit 7 generates the output image signal from a single original image signal. In an output mode for still image, an image shift mechanism 19 parallely shifts the optical axis of the incoming image light while the imaging means captures the original image light multiple times so that an output image is produced from these original image signals. An amount of attenuation of the filter 18 in the output mode for motion images is greater than that for an equivalent spatial frequency component in the output mode for still image.

摘要: An image of a preselected subject is photographed by a camera and is recorded on a reversal film, and a film image thus recorded is read by a scanner and is stored in a storing medium. Data of a photographic processing control image prepared by computer graphics is stored in the storing medium, and a composite image of the image of the subject and the control image is prepared. The image data of a subject portion of the composite image and the image data of a control image portion of the composite image are independently corrected, then the composite image with the corrected image data is recorded on the reversal film, and then the composite image recorded on the reversal film is printed with a negative film interposed therebetween. These operations are repeated until respective subject images of the print obtained by the composite image and of a print obtained by photographing the subject have substantially the same quality and the density and color balance of the control image portion become proper. By using the composite image recorded on the reversal film when these subject images have substantially the same quality and the density and color balance become proper, a photographic processing control tool is prepared.
