The at least one hood-outlet (52) is designed for surrounding, a plurality of cell-inlets (36) of the cyclone cells (28) of the cyclone block (12). A wall (70) of the hood (40) defines a distributor volume (72) inside the hood (40), which is located between the at least one hood-inlet (50) and the at least one hood-outlet (52). The wall (70) has at least one line or area of inflection (74), where at least one inner surface of the wall (70) changes its curvature.
Abstract:
An air cleaner is disposed at the front part of an intake space below a seat. A battery box containing a battery is disposed on the rear side relative to the air cleaner in the intake space. The battery box is disposed with a rearward tilt and on the intake upstream side of the air cleaner and a corner part of the battery box at the lower front end thereof is disposed close to the air cleaner with the intermediary of a slight gap. The battery in the battery box is located in a flow of intake air sucked into the air cleaner and is efficiently cooled. The battery box includes an opening wherein part of the outer surface of the battery and a degassing part face the opening. An anti-diffusion cover part, continuous with an edge of the opening, covers the degassing part.
Abstract:
A filter box assembly for integrating into a bi-directional vent and air intake line associated with a vehicle fuel tank. The assembly includes an outer shell having an open inserting end and an opposite closed end. An inner communicable component is engageable within the open inserting end of the outer shell and collectively defines a plurality of continuous and reverse flow passageways extending between a plurality of inlet apertures defined upon a base surface of the inner component and a conduit attachment nipple extending from the inner component.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a filter element unit for an air filter of a vehicle with an internal combustion engine, including: a filter element, a filter medium; and a one-piece gasket. The gasket includes: a first part circumferentially surrounding the filter element and adapted to seal the filter element against a first channel of a filter housing of the air filter and a second part formed unitary with the first part and spaced away from the first part and spaced away from the filter medium, the second part is adapted to seal a second channel of the filter housing; wherein the first part and the second part are connected with each other via at least two bridges.
Abstract:
An air intake system for a saddle-ride vehicle for facilitating the intake of fresh air and for enabling a discharge of excess pressure in an air cleaner box. The system includes an air cleaner box with an air cleaner element housed in an air cleaner case and an intake duct connected to the air cleaner box with an intake port open toward a vehicle front side, in which the intake duct has a duct opening oriented outward of the duct between the intake port and the air cleaner box. The air cleaner box includes parts for connecting the intake duct, a connecting tube and also case openings oriented outward of the case.
Abstract:
An air induction system for a vehicle having an engine includes a housing, a filter and an acoustic resonator. The housing includes a first housing member, a second housing member, and an air flow path passing through the housing. The filter is located within the housing and disposed in the air flow path for removing debris from intake air. The acoustic resonator is integrally formed with the first housing member and is operative to reduce noise generated by the engine.
Abstract:
A centrifugal separator (1) for separating particles (2) from a fluid, having a guide apparatus (8) that has a housing (12) with an inflow opening (4) and an outflow opening (14), a core (18) accommodated in said housing (12) and guide blades (26) that are arranged between the core (18) and the housing (12), wherein the cross-sectional area (A) of the guide apparatus (8), through which the fluid flows through the guide apparatus (8), changes starting from the inflow opening (4) towards the outflow opening (14) in a flow direction (6) of the guide apparatus (8).
Abstract:
An ROV includes a body frame, a plurality of seats, a cargo bed, and an air cleaner. The plurality of seats are supported by the body frame, and aligned in a width direction of the ROV. The cargo bed is disposed rearward relative to the seats, and supported by the body frame. The cargo bed includes a placement surface on which cargo is to be placed. The air cleaner is disposed rearward relative to the seats, and at least partially exposed above the placement surface.
Abstract:
A saddle type vehicle including a frame of a monocoque structure having an air cleaner wherein the sealing property can be secured. An air cleaner includes a filter element disposed in a hollow main frame to partition the main frame into a dirty side region and a clean side region. An intake path member connects an engine below the main frame to the clean side region. A communicating opening for communicating with the engine is formed on a lower face side of the clean side region. The communicating opening is covered with a lid member. The lid member includes a first plate member with a communicating hole in which the intake path member to the engine is inserted, a second plate member for surrounding an outer periphery of the first plate member, and an elastic member provided between the first plate member and the second plate member.
Abstract:
An intake module of an air intake tract of an internal combustion engine is provided with an intake housing part that has at least one inlet for combustion air to be filtered and an outlet section. A filter housing part with an air filter element that filters the combustion air is provided. The filter housing part has an inlet section and at least one outlet for the filtered combustion air. An air connection between the outlet section of the intake housing part and an inflow side of the air filter element is provided. A fixed intake pipe part is arranged between the outlet section of the intake housing part and the inlet section of the filter housing part. The fixed intake pipe part at least partially forms the air connection between the outlet section of the intake housing part and the inflow side of the air filter element.
