摘要: A device for providing augmented reality (AR) that can accurately detect an object or a text at which a user gazes, and can display an image associated with the detected object or text, and a system for providing AR using the same, and may include at least one display module configured to display an AR content image through a transparent lens, a sensing module configured to generate signals indicative of movement in left, right, up, and down directions, and to generate image data corresponding to a user's gaze direction, a biosensor configured to detect a user's pupil to output a pupil sensing signal, and a control module configured to detect gaze coordinate information based on the pupil sensing signal, and to extract an object or a text corresponding to the gaze coordinate information from the image data to generate AR content data including the extracted object or text.

摘要: A spatial indexing system receives a video that is a sequence of frames depicting an environment, such as a floor of a construction site, and performs a spatial indexing process to automatically identify the spatial locations at which each of the images were captured. The spatial indexing system also generates an immersive model of the environment and provides a visualization interface that allows a user to view each of the images at its corresponding location within the model.

摘要: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, receiving information about an augmented reality (AR) environment which includes a plurality of objects and a user participating in the AR environment, the user viewing the AR environment through a user equipment, receiving context information for the AR environment, identifying a diminished reality (DR) object of the plurality of objects, wherein the identifying is responsive to the context information, modifying the AR environment to render the DR object invisible to the user viewing the AR environment through user equipment, monitoring movement of one or more objects of the AR environment including the DR object, and modifying visibility of the DR object to the user viewing the AR environment through user equipment as a notification of a possible collision between the user and the DR object, wherein the modifying is responsive to detecting a risk of collision. Other embodiments are disclosed.

摘要: Various embodiments of the disclosure relate to an electronic device for providing a recognition result for an external object by using recognition information for an image, similar recognition information related to recognition information, and hierarchy information, and an operating method thereof. The electronic device may include a camera, a display, a memory, and a processor. The processor may be configured to acquire an image including an external object by using the camera, generate recognition information for the external object by using the image, acquire similar recognition information generated together with the recognition information as a recognition result of the external object corresponding to the recognition information before the generating operation, acquire hierarchy information corresponding to the recognition information or the similar recognition information, and provide, by using the display, a recognition result for the external object generated by using at least the recognition information, the similar recognition information, and the hierarchy information.

摘要: A surgical system includes an AR headset and a AR headset controller. The AR headset is configured to be worn by a user during a surgical procedure and has a see-through display screen configured to display an AR image and to allow at least a portion of a real-world scene to pass therethrough for viewing by the user. The AR headset also includes an opacity filter positioned between at least one of the user's eyes and the real-world scene when the see-through display screen is viewed by the user. The opacity filter provides opaqueness to light from the real-world scene. The AR headset controller communicates with a navigation controller to receive navigation information from the navigation controller which provides guidance to the user during the surgical procedure on an anatomical structure, and generates the AR image based on the navigation information for display on the see-through display screen.

摘要: A system for generating a labelled image data set for use in object detection training includes a three-dimensional scan of an object and its environment in a coordinate space generated using a set of images taken by a user device. The three-dimensional scan has an annotation of the object in the coordinate space. Each image in the set of images has position information of the user device in the coordinate space. A computing system is adapted to annotate the set of images by projecting the annotation of the object onto each image using the position information. The computing system is adapted to generate a labelled image set for teaching object detection using the annotated set of images.

The system and method utilizes an integrated augmented reality platform composed of multiple camera systems, which allows for non-intrusive recording of end-users' activities and context detection while authoring and implementing CAPs. The system and method provides an augmented reality authoring interface for browsing, selecting, and editing recorded activities, and creating flexible CAPs through spatial interaction and visual programming.

The program and method provide for causing, by a messaging application running on a device, a camera of the device to capture an image; receiving by the messaging application, speech input to select augmented reality content for display with the image; determining at least one keyword included in the speech input; determining that the at least one keyword indicates an object depicted in the image and an action to perform with respect to the object; identifying, from plural augmented reality content items, an augmented reality content item that corresponds to performing the action with respect to the object; and displaying the augmented reality content item with the image.
