    摘要: A system for providing remote monitoring of electricity consumption is provided. Briefly described, in one embodiment the system may comprise a plurality of electric meters, a plurality of communication devices having a unique address and defining a wireless communication network, and a site controller. Each of the plurality of electric meters may be configured to measure the electricity consumption of a load attached to the electric meter. Each of the plurality of communication devices may be associated with one of the plurality of electric meters and configured to receive data related to the electricity consumption of the electric meter data and generate a transmit message using a predefined communication protocol being implemented by the wireless communication network. The transmit message may comprise the unique identifier and the data related to the electricity consumption of the electric meter. The site controller may be configured for communication with the wireless communication network and configured to receive the transmit message from one of the plurality of communication devices, identify the electric meter associated with the transmit message, and provide information related to the transmit message to a wide area network for delivery to a host computer.

    摘要: A multi-user, multi-device remote access system is provided for allowing a plurality of non-homogenous, spatially-distributed devices, such as sensors, actuators, controllers, and other similar devices, to be remotely controlled by a user via a user interface. A universal controller allows devices of various types to be automatically integrated therewith for use. The universal controller communicates with a resource manager that monitors and dispatches requests for information and commands generated by the user at the user interface. High-level instructions are entered by a user at the user interface, received by the resource manager, and translated into bytecodes, whereupon the bytecodes are sent to an appropriate universal controller based upon instruction type and device availability. The bytecodes are executed by the universal controller, and one or more devices connected therewith are activated. Results of execution are gathered by the universal controller, transmitted to the resource manager, and dispatched to the user interface for display to the user. System status information is provided by the resource manager and accessible via the user interface.

    摘要: A far end remote control method and system by a short message and Bluetooth function operation are used to control output/input devices at a far end. The system mainly comprises a cellular phone, controlling device and controlled devices. Here, the method comprises the following steps: first, a cellular phone transmits a short message control command to a controlling device through a cellular phone network; the controlling device searches a controlled device appointed in the command; the controlling device builds a Bluetooth Serial Port Profile connection with the controlled device after the appointed controlled device is found; the controlling device transmits the short message control command to the controlled device through the connection; the controlled device controls an output or input device after receiving the command; the controlled device transmits an execution result back to the controlling device; the controlling device reports the execution result back to the cellular phone by a short message; the controlling device disconnects the connection with the controlled device and waits for a next control command after the report is completed. Thereby, the control range can be expanded to the all places in the world that the cellular phone is applicable. And, the controlled device can built a temporary network with the controlling device, the structure will not be changed even if the number of the controlled devices is increased or decreased.

    摘要: A remotely activated control device responsive to a specific transmitter operating in a frequency band assigned to radio telephone equipment, such as cellular telephone networks, cordless telephones, etc. The control device includes a radio receiver which provides a received pulse train to an assurance logic circuit. The assurance logic circuit determines if the received pulse train is limited to no more than a transmitter identification code and an action code, the combination of which is less than the code required to activate a relay network or initiate a radio telephone connection. Pulse trains accepted by the assurance logic circuit are compared to a stored code by a comparitor. The stored code includes the identification of a specific transmitter or group of transmitters and at least one action code. If the received pulse train matches the stored code, a switching circuit is activated to control a user supplied device.

A higher degree of flexibility is provided to types of devices to be controlled which can be remotely controlled, and a control device which performs remote control. The device to be controlled creates conversion-into-remote-controller data on the basis of this ability information and transmits the data to the control device.
