    摘要: In a watertight brushless fan motor of the present invention, a first pad 33 is disposed in a first space between a stator 1 and a circuit substrate 3. A second pad 35 is disposed in a second space between the circuit substrate 3 and a plate-like section 7c of a case 7. Spaces between the plate-like section 7c of the case 7 and a bearing supporting cylindrical section 7a are formed with an insulating resin in such a manner that the stator 1 and the circuit substrate 3 are included inside, thereby forming a molded part 31. With this arrangement, the watertight brushless fan motor is provided that can prevent occurrence of a crack in the outer surface of the molded part due to the so-called molding shrinkage of the insulating resin or expansion and shrinkage of the insulating resin caused by a change in ambient temperature.

    摘要: A centralized power distribution unit for a vehicular thin brushless motor includes a plurality of bus bars and a resin insulating layer that covers the bus bars. The bus bars are disposed correspondingly with phases of the motor. Each of the bus bars has a terminal portion to be connected to a battery and one or more tabs to be connected respectively to one or more windings of a stator. Each of the bus bars is shaped into a substantially annular shape by bending a molded material in a thickness direction. The molded material is obtained by stamping out a conductive metal plate into a strip-like shape. Diameters of the annular shapes of the bus bars are set to be different from one another depending on the corresponding phase of the motor. The bus bars are stacked in a radial direction of the centralized power distribution unit, mutually separated by a predetermined gap.

    摘要: Plural slots are formed in a cylindrical stator or rotor core of a rotary electric machine. An insulation sleeve having a substantially rectangular cross-section is inserted into each slot, and conductors are inserted into an inner space of the insulation sleeve disposed in the slot. The inner space of the insulation sleeve is enlarged by inserting the conductors, thereby strongly pressing the corner portions of the insulation sleeve against the corners of the slot. Thus, the insulation sleeve is firmly kept in the slot, avoiding its sliding movement in the slot in the process of inserting the conductors. The insulation sleeve is prevented from being damaged by its sliding movement in the slot.

    摘要: Insulating slot liners for insertion into stator core winding slots are formed from a narrow-width reel of insulating material. The width of the material is determined by the inner circumferential surface of the winding slot that must be insulated, instead of being based on the axial length of the stator core as has been the practice in the past. As a result, slot liners may be easily produced for stator cores of different axial lengths by simply adjusting the length of material cut from the reel. Preferably, the cutting mechanism used to cut the length of material is adapted to form a pair of opposed cuffs when the material is cut. An insulator blank formed in this manner is pushed into a die, thereby forming a U-shaped slot liner. A transfer mechanism functions to move the slot liner into a respective winding slot. The slot liner preferably passes through a reduced diameter guideway defined in a guide element as it is moved into the winding slot. The guide element is adapted to be retracted from its operative position after insertion of the slot liner so that the stator core can be indexed to the next slot position.

    摘要: A slitting and scoring machine includes an upper tooling roller and a lower tooling roller that cooperate to define a tooling nip. Each tooling roller includes an alternating series of coaxially arranged annular knives, annular dies, and annular mandrels. A web of insulation is drawn through the tooling nip to simultaneously (i) cut the web into strips, (ii) score the strips in a manner that promotes the forming of the strips, and (iii) partially form the strips into modified U-shapes. Each strip includes a longitudinally extending middle segment and a pair of longitudinally extending side segments that extend away from the middle segment in a divergent manner to define a longitudinally extending channel. Longitudinally extending grooves are formed by the scoring at the junctures of the middle segment and the side segments. The scoring/grooves promote the divergent shape of the strip. In an end profile view of the strip, the middle segment and each of the side segments are generally straight, and an obtuse angle is defined between each side segment and the middle segment. Each strip is formed into a roll, so that a first length of the strip and a second length of the strip each extend around a common point. At least a portion of the second length is disposed within the channel of the first length.

    摘要: A system and a method for forming, storing and loading slot cell insulators into slots in a stator core of a dynamoelectric machine. The system includes a forming assembly for forming slot cell insulators and a loading assembly for storing the insulators and loading the insulators into the stator core. The system also includes a transfer mechanism for moving the insulators from the forming assembly into the loading assembly. In the process, these elements cooperate to align end portions of the insulators before they are inserted into the stator core, thereby improving the efficiency of the loading procedure. When the stator core is ready to receive the insulators, the loading assembly simultaneously loads all of the insulators into the stator core. The storage capacity of the loading assembly allows the system to form and store insulators substantially continuously which in combination with the ability to load simultaneously the insulators into the stator core dramatically increases the efficiency of the system and method.
