    摘要: Approaches are described for securely sending, receiving, or otherwise processing communications between electronic devices. A communication can be received at a computing device (such as a mobile phone). The communication can include information captured about a person initiating the communication such as an image of the user, voice data of the user, typing pattern information of the user, or any other information that can be used to identify the user generating the communication. The information can be compared against profile data (e.g., contact information such as a phone number or name of the sender) associated with or otherwise stored for an indicated sender of the communication to generate a confidence value, where the confidence value can be used to indicate that the person initiating the communication is the indicated sender.

    摘要: An image recording device capable of obtaining a moving image with less noise even in a low illuminance environment when obtaining a moving image having a wide dynamic range. An image pickup device picks up an image of an object over different exposure time periods to output a plurality of image signals. The plurality of image signals output from the image pickup device are synthesized to thereby obtain a synthesized image. The synthesized image is recorded in a memory at a predetermined frame rate. Respective vertical transfer periods for reading out the plurality of image signals are differentiated according to the different exposure time periods, and the sum of the vertical transfer periods is controlled to a time period defined by the predetermined frame rate.

    摘要: A method of performing motion compensation includes identifying a set of candidate motion vectors for a block in an intermediate frame from a set of motion vectors from a previous and current frames, performing block-level analysis for each candidate motion vector, selecting an interpolation motion vector, and using the interpolation motion vector to interpolate the intermediate frame between the previous and current frames, wherein the number of intermediate frames depends upon a conversion to a faster frame rate. A method of determining background and foreground motion vectors for a block in an interpolated frame includes comparing a first motion vector that points to a previous frame to a second motion vector that points to a next frame to produce a difference, and designating one of the first and second motion vectors as a background motion vector and the other as a foreground motion vector depending upon the difference.

    摘要: An object of the present invention is to suppress the brightness distribution in the lighting device. The backlight unit 12 according to the present invention includes an LED 17 as a light source with a light intensity distribution in which light having a peak light intensity travels in a direction inclined with respect to a front direction, a chassis 14 having an opening on a light exit side and housing the LED 17, and a light leading member 22 provided to extend from a mounting surface of the LED 17 toward the light exit side. The light leading member 22 is configured to lead light from the LED 17 toward the light exit side. The employment of the LED 17 with the above light intensity distribution enables an irradiation area A irradiated with the light having the peak light intensity to be larger.
