    摘要: A transistor is provided which advantageously utilizes a part of the area which, in conventional transistors, is provided for the isolation between the transistors. In this case, the channel width can be enlarged in a self-aligned manner without the risk of short circuits. The field-effect transistor according to the invention has the advantage that it is possible to ensure a significant increase in the effective channel width for the forward current ION compared with previously used, conventional transistor structures, without having to accept a reduction of the integration density that can be attained. Thus, by way of example, the forward current ION can be increased by up to 50%, without having to alter the arrangement of the active regions or of the trench isolation.

    摘要: With increasing integration density of integrated circuits, the packing density in test regions (kerf structures) located between the integrated circuits cannot be increased substantially, since the majority of the available area is occupied by contact areas. The invention is therefore directed toward a test structure region on a wafer having contact areas for applying voltages and test components between the contact areas. The test structure includes at least two test components that are arranged between two adjacent contact areas. The test components are each connected to the adjacent contact areas so that a voltage can be applied to the test components via the contact areas.

    摘要: Apparatus for allowing measurements to be made of a blood sample comprises a shaft and at least first and second blood collection members. The blood collection members are independently rotatable about the shaft. Each blood collection member includes: a blood analysis part for receiving a blood sample, plural conductive contacts, and plural conductors extending between the blood analysis part and respective ones of the conductive contacts. The apparatus also includes plural terminals configured to provide an electrical connection with the plural conductive contacts on a first member when the apparatus is in a first configuration and to provide an electrical connection with the plural conductive contacts on a second member when the apparatus is in a second configuration, thereby allowing successive measurements of at least one parameter of blood samples provided on the blood analysis parts of the first and second members.

    摘要: A connecting device of a vehicle drive-train, located outside a variable-speed transmission, for rotationally coupling a shaft to a drive-train element. A sliding sleeve is rotationally fixed on the shaft but slides axially between first and second positions. In the first position, the shaft is rotationally disengaged from the drive-train element and, in the second position, they are rotationally coupled. An actuator displaces the sliding sleeve between the first and second positions, with a shift groove along a peripheral contour of the sliding sleeve and engagement members for engaging in the groove. The sliding sleeve can rotate and move axially relative to the engagement members and the groove is shaped as a curved guiding such that, when the engagement members engage in the groove and the sliding sleeve rotates relative to the engagement member, the sliding sleeve moves axially between the first and second positions by virtue of the groove.
