Abstract:
A multilayer wiring board structure includes a plurality of conductor layers and insulation layers interleaved between each ones of the conductor layers. The conductor layers includes power (or ground) line layers and signal line layers, and one type of insulation layer having lower relative permittivity and another type of insulation layer having higher relative permittivity is used between power (ground) line layers interposed by signal line layer(s).

An electromagnetically driven shutter device in which a first coil drives shutter blades to control an aperture and shutter time. A second coil controls the moving distance, that is maximum aperture, of the first coil by being located at a plurality of positions including its initial position.
Abstract:
A cooling module for integrated circuit chips comprising a plurality of integrated circuit chips mounted on a wiring substrate, cooling members respectively provided for integrated circuit chips, each of the cooling members having therein space for circulating the coolant, and flexible pipes connected to respective cooling members, the coolant being caused to flow into or out of said space of said cooling member through the flexible pipes in order to remove heat from the integrated circuit chip.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for producing vortex rings of a gas in a liquid. The apparatus includes: an accumulator including a gas outlet for discharging the gas and a gas inlet for introducing a gas from a gas supply source thereinto; a nozzle attached to the outlet of the accumulator in a communicating relation to the accumulator, the nozzle being of elasticity such that the nozzle is sealingly closed under liquid pressure when used; valve, connected to the accumulator, for permitting a gas supply from the gas supply source to the nozzle; and a mechanism for actuating the valve when gas pressure within the accumulator reaches predetermined pressure levels. In the method an accumulator is positioned in the liquid, and then the gas under pressure higher than that in the liquid surrounding the accumulator is supplied to the accumulator, from which the supplied gas is introduced into a nozzle communicated to the accumulator to open the nozzle against the pressure in the surrounding liquid. Then, in the nozzle there is formed a stream of the gas having a higher velocity at the center of the nozzle than that at the inner periphery of the nozzle so that a vortex ring of the gas is formed. The formed vortex ring is ejected from the nozzle into the liquid. The gas supply to the nozzle is stopped and thereby the nozzle is closed under the pressure in the surrounding liquid.

Abstract:
An induction system for a multi-cylinder internal combustion engine that improves fuel efficiency and reduces the emission of unwanted exhaust gas constituents, particularly at the low and medium load conditions. The engine induction system comprises a plurality of separate carburetor barrels which, at least under some running conditions, serve cylinders separately from each other through main induction passages. One carburetor barrel is provided with a different fuel discharge system than the other carburetor barrels for accomodating a certain engine operating condition. A separate sub-intake system connects this carburetor barrel with other cylinders not normally served by the particular carburetor barrel in question. This sub-intake system has a substantially smaller cross-sectional area in the main intake system so that the charge drawn into the cylinders through the sub-intake system enters at a substantially higher velocity. This improves combustion by creating turbulence under at least some operating conditions. The ratio of flow between the sub-intake system and the main intake system is controlled by a series of throttle valves. In accordance with this invention constructions are provided for delaying the movement of the throttle valve associated with the other carburetor barrels from that associated with the one carburetor barrel for improving the transitional performance of the engine. In certain embodiments of the invention this delay in movement is accomplished by a resilient connection in the throttle linkage.
Abstract:
A method which comprises processing an imagewise exposed and color developed silver halide color photographic material with a solution containing a ferric ion complex, a bromate and a water-soluble chloride is disclosed.
Abstract:
A camera with built-in motor having a motor disposed horizontally at the central bottom portion of the camera body and out of path of the input light for driving various drive mechanisms necessary for the photographing. Said motor has two output shafts extending out of the housing of the motor, so that two or more loads may be simultaneously driven by the motor. Said mechanisms are suitably sorted into groups by the magnitudes of the loads imparted by these mechanisms, and these groups are driven by the motor in such a sequence as to maintain a substantially constant level of load on the motor in relation to time.
Abstract:
A silver halide color photographic material comprising a support having thereon at least a silver halide emulsion layer containing a hydrophobic phenolic or naphtholic cyan dye forming coupler together with a 2-(2'-hydroxyphenyl)benzotriazole compound. The color photographic material provides a cyan dye image having improved moisture resistance and high fastness to heat.
Abstract:
A color photographic light-sensitive material having a silver halide emulsion layer containing a 1-phenyl-2-pyrazol-5-one magenta color-forming coupler, in which the 1-phenyl group of the coupler is substituted (1) with a R.sub.1 OOC-group, wherein R.sub.1 represents a group having about 8 to 26 carbon atoms, or (2) with a R.sub.2 OOC-group and a R.sub.3 OOC-group, wherein R.sub.2 and R.sub.3, which may be the same or different, each represents a group having about 4 to 18 carbon atoms; and in which the 3-position of the pyrazolone is substituted with an acylamino group, an ureido group, an alkoxy group, an amino group or an anilino group. The color photographic light-sensitive material provides stable magenta dye images having good spectral absorption characteristics.
