摘要： A digital broadcasting system is obtained having simple facilities and circuit structure and capable of efficiently transmitting and receiving synchronized pictures and displaying them without applying a synchronizing process thereto. According to the digital broadcasting system, picture signals respectively for the light eye and the left eye obtained from two synchronously operated cameras (13a, 13b) are converted to a noninterlace frame signal (picture data) by a frame memory unit (20) of the transmitting end. The picture data is compressed and modulated, and then transmitted to a communication satellite (8) over a transmission line of one channel. A transmission signal supplied from the communication satellite (8) is demodulated and decoded, and then converted to picture signals for the right and left eyes by a frame memory unit (21) of the receiving end, and the converted signals are displayed on a stereoscopic display monitor (12) in a stereoscopic manner.

摘要： A process for producing a polyimide platy object includes (a) providing a solution containing a solvent and a solute (i.e., a polyimide precursor or polyimide); (b) pouring the solution onto a supporting member; (c) removing a portion of the solvent from the solution at a first temperature lower than boiling point of the solvent, thereby forming a precursory platy object thereon, the precursory platy object having a self-supporting property and a first surface in contact with the supporting member and a second surface away therefrom and a first content of the solvent at the first surface and a second content (less than the first content by 2-10 wt %) of the solvent at the second surface; and (d) detaching the precursory platy object therefrom; and (e) heating the precursory platy object at a second temperature higher than boiling point of the solvent and is lower than decomposition temperature of the polyimide.

This digital broadcast receiver unit includes a demodulator to tune in the channel of the received signal and perform demodulation, a multiplex isolator to isolate the audio, video and other types of data coded from the multiplex signals output from the demodulator, a decoder to decode the video signal and audio signal from the multiplex isolator, a plurality of video processors performing respectively different corresponding scanning methods and connected to an output of the decoder, an output selector to select from among outputs from the plurality of video processors, and a controller to control the output selector and determine the scanning method of the video signal of the selected program and also perform the appropriate processing based on the scanning method for the selected video signal.

摘要： A liquid crystal display having a wide viewing angle and easily manufactured. The liquid crystal display comprises an upper substrate and a lower substrate, and a liquid crystal material disposed between the upper substrate and the lower substrate. The liquid crystal display has a conductive protrusion disposed on the surface of the upper substrate opposing to the lower substrate. The conductive protrusion is disposed over a scanning electrode line or a signal electrode line and has the same potential as that of the upper electrode. As another structure, each of pixel electrodes on the lower substrate has a smaller area than that of a common electrode on the upper substrate and is covered by the common electrode, and each of the pixel electrodes comprises an electrode portion having approximately symmetrical shape.

摘要： The present invention creates a novel antiangiogenic agent and provides an antitumor agent which shows high safety as compared with conventional antitumor agents, has a sure effect and is able to be administered for a long period. That is, it provides an indole compound represented by the following formula (I), its pharmacologically acceptable salt or hydrates thereof. In the formula, R1 represents hydrogen atom, a halogen atom or cyano group; R2 and R3 are the same as or different from and each represents hydrogen atom, a C1˜C4 lower alkyl group or a halogen atom; R4 represents hydrogen atom or a C1˜C4 lower alkyl group; and the ring A represents cyanophenyl group, aminosulfonylphenyl group, aminopyridyl group, aminopyrimidyl group, a halopyridyl group or cyanothiophenyl group, provided that the case where all of R1, R2 and R3 are hydrogen atoms, where both R2 and R3 are hydrogen atoms or where the ring A is aminosulfonyl group and both R1 and R2 are halogen atoms is excluded. Further, when the ring A is cyanophenyl group, 2-amino-5-pyridyl group or a 2-halo-5-pyridyl group and R1 is cyano group or a halogen atom, at least one of R2 and R3 should not be a hydrogen atom.

The contacting color layer has at least one color layer selected from a group of composed of the first to third color layers. A black matrix is provided on the contacting color layer. The black matrix has opening portions for transmitting light from the color filter.
