摘要: Provided is a pair of arc discharge suppressive terminals electrically communicable with each other by engagement of the terminal pair. At least one of the terminal pair has a final contact site which is in contact with the counterpart terminal at a final stage of disengagement of the terminal pair. At least the final contact site is covered with an arc discharge suppressive layer containing a first metal having a melting point of 1,550° C. or higher. It is preferable that the terminal pair contact with each other at a portion corresponding to a main contact site other than the arc discharge suppressive layer in a completely engaged state where the one of the terminal pair and the counterpart terminal are tightly engaged with each other. Preferably, the main contact site has a surface made of a material having a higher conductivity than the arc discharge suppressive layer. This arrangement effectively suppresses occurrence of arc discharge at a time of disengagement of the terminal pair.

摘要: A terminal includes a fixing section that is fixed to a vehicle body, and a removable section to which an electric wire is attached. A line of weakness is provided between the fixing section and the removable section. When the electric wire is pulled during disassembly and/or recycling of the vehicle body, the terminal breaks at the line of weakness and the electric wire can be removed from said fixing section while the fixing section remains fixed to the vehicle body.

摘要: A connector terminal is provided with a press-in portion extending in forward and backward directions; a trunk portion (joining portion) extending downward from the press-in portion; a base portion extending forward and backward from the bottom end (leading end) of the trunk portion, a pair of deflectable pieces for connection (contact portions) which are vertically resiliently displaceable, extend forward and backward from the base portion at the front and rear sides of the trunk portion and have contacts at their sides opposite from the press-in portions; and a leg portion extending upward from the rear end of the press-in portion. The connector terminal is inserted into a corresponding cavity from behind the housing with a leading end of the press-in portion faced forward, and is accommodated and held in the cavity by pressing the leading end into a fixing hole formed in the housing and engaging a hook provided at the leading end with the housing. Contact portions can be effectively prevented from undergoing a deformation (plastic deformation) during the insertion of the connector terminal into the connector housing.

摘要: A connector (1) collectively connects terminals (10) of a plurality of devices (11) by being fit to a stacked body (12) in which the plurality of devices are stacked. The connector (1) includes a terminal main portion (2) with a plurality of independent fitting portions (21 to 24) for connection to the respective terminals (10) of the devices (11). The connector (1) also has a terminal holding portion (3) for supporting and uniting the terminal main portion (2). Connecting portions (51 to 53) connect the fitting portions (21 to 24) and the terminal holding portion (3) and are formed as tolerance absorbing portions capable of absorbing a tolerance due to the stacking of the devices by a resilient force.

摘要: A wiring module (1) includes a wiring harness (10) including a plurality of wires (11) and connectors (12) fixed to ends of the respective wires (11) and fittable into fitting portions (91) of a stacked device (90). A positioning member (20) is fixed to the wiring harness (10) and capable of being positioned at a predetermined position with respect to the stacked device (90). The positioning member (20) includes connector fixing portions (21) arranged at the same intervals as the fitting portions (91) of the stacked device (90). The connector fixing portion (21) positions each connector (12) of the wiring harness (10) fixedly at a position facing the corresponding fitting portion (91) when the positioning member (20) is positioned at the predetermined position with respect to the stacked device (90).

摘要: A joint connector and an assembling method are provided for simultaneously achieving waterproofing and double locking. A ground joint connector (1) includes wire-side terminals (20), a ground terminal (30), a connector housing (40), waterproof plugs (5) and a seal ring (6). The housing (40) includes a wire-side housing (41) and a ground-side housing (42). When the wire-side housing (41) is fixed to the ground-side housing (42) at a first position, locking lances (48) are not restricted at a locking position for locking the wire-side terminal (29) by lance locks (49) in the ground-side housing (42). On the other hand, when the wire-side housing (41) is fixed to the ground-side housing (42) at a second position, the locking lances (48) are restricted at the locking position for locking the wire-side terminals (20) by the lance locks (49).

摘要: It is an object of the present invention to prevent a temperature of a bus bar from being raised excessively in a bus bar module for a battery pack. A first vent hole and a second vent hole are formed in a portion surrounding each of hollow portions in bus bar housing portions in the bus bar, a surrounding portion and a cover member. The first vent hole and the second vent hole form an air flow path communicating from an upstream side to a downstream side in a predetermined air cooling direction. In the case in which the air cooling direction is a direction in which an electrode is extended from a battery cell, the first vent hole is formed in a portion positioned in a clearance between the adjacent battery cells in each bus bar and the second vent hole is formed on the cover member.
