    摘要: A method of forming a monomolecular film capable of independently controlling the process of forming a monomolecular film and the process of removing a part of the monomolecular film which has not been used in monomolecular film formation. The method includes, in addition to spreading a material for forming a monomolecular film onto a water surface, compressing the material on the water surface thereby transforming the material into a monomolecular film, and transferring the monomolecular film on the water surface onto a substrate, storing in a first region a part of the monomolecular film which has not been transferred to the substrate. The first region is located at a distance from a second region for preparing the monomolecular film with respect to a third region for transferring part of the film to the substrate, and has a water level lower than that of the third region.

    摘要: A method for producing a coffee aroma component is disclosed, which comprises the steps of feeding an aqueous solution containing from 10 to 80% by weight of ethanol and an inert gas into roasted and milled coffee beans heated to 80.degree. to 20.degree. C., contacting the mixture with the coffee beans, and then condensing and collecting a volatile aroma component evolving from the coffee beans. According to the present invention, the preferable aroma of fresh milled coffee beans after roasted can be perfectly collected. Further, the method of the present invention requires neither any complicated apparatus nor any special conditions. Namely, this method can be easily and inexpensively embodied. Further, it is an advantageous method from an industrial viewpoint. The coffee aroma component obtained by the method of the present invention suffers from little change in aroma during the processing and over prolonged storage. When added to coffee, coffee drinks, other foods and luxury foods, therefore, this coffee aroma component can improve and enrich the qualities of the aroma. Thus it is highly expected that the commercial values of these products can be elevated thereby.

    摘要: This invention provides polypropylene-based resin-coated paper using paper as substrate and having excellent smoothness, especially the one which, when used for printing or heat transfer recording, keeps free from formation of white dots and occurrence of density unevenness in images, and thus is suited for printing use or heat transfer recording use. At least one side of the paper substrate is coated with a resin. The paper used as substrate is characterized by the fact that the unevenness in film thickness in machine direction (unevenness index) as measured by a film thickness meter is less than a specified value. The resin used for coating is a compounded resin composition comprising a polyethylene-based resin and a random polypropylene-based resin obtained by randomly copolymerizing principally ethylene and propylene, with the ethylene proportion being in a specified range, wherein the ratio by weight of the polyethylene-based resin to the random polypropylene-based resin is in a specified range, and the composition has been subjected to at least one round of kneading.
