    摘要: A thermal type flowmeter for measuring a flow rate of a fluid which is equipped with a thermo-sensitive resistor provided within a fluid passage and arranged to heat while being energized. The flowmeter includes an electric power adjusting element provided in series with the thermo-sensitive resistor for adjusting the amount of electric power to be supplied to the thermo-sensitive resistor based on a current inputted to its input terminal. It also includes a constant current source circuit connected to said input terminal of the electric power adjusting element for supplying a predetermined constant current to the input terminal of the electric power adjusting element. A control circuit outputs an adjustment signal to adjust an amount of electric power supplied to the thermo-sensitive resistor so that the thermo-sensitive resistor has a predetermined temperature. A current adjusting circuit connected to the input terminal of the electric power adjusting element divides the constant current from the constant current source circuit in accordance with the adjustment signal from the control circuit so as to adjust the input current to the electric power adjusting element. This arrangement can reduce the minimum operating voltage for the flowmeter because the input current of the electric power adjusting element can be obtained from the constant current source circuit.

    摘要: A method of producing compounds in which the rubber phase contains a polyolefin and a halobutyl rubber, which is partially crosslinked, to which composition is then added additional polyolefin and a vulcanizable olefinic rubber, which is then further crosslinked using organic peroxides, and then blended with a styrenic rubber. The TPE compounds incorporate (A) polypropylene 10-90 weight parts (wt. pts.), (B) halobutyl rubber 90-10 wt. pts. (where (A)+(B)=100), (C) an olefinic rubber 10-120 wt. pts., (D) mineral oil softener 5-120 wt. pts., which are then treated thermally in the presence of (E) MOx and/or MCl, to which composition of 100 weight parts is added (F) polyolefin 100-600 wt. pts., and (G) a vulcanizable olefinic rubber 50-500 wt. pts. The resulting blend is then thermally treated with (H) organic peroxide(s), to which blend of 100 wt. pts. is then added and uniformly dispersed (I) 5-150 wt. pts. of styrenic rubber.The method produces thermoplastic elastomer compositions which can be molded into large parts with smooth surfaces that accept paint well, have a good balance of flexibility and strength.

    摘要: A liquid state resist is dropped to form a coating on a semiconductor substrate mounted on a rotary chuck disposed in a resist coating vessel in which a sealed solvent vapor atmosphere is created. An adjusting plate is provided in the coating vessel above the rotary chuck in a stationary or movable manner to weaken or substantially reduce a swirly flow of the solvent vapor which tends to occur in the coating vessel when the chuck is rotated. Thus a substrate coated with a resist film of uniform thickness is obtained.

    摘要: An optical plane circuit has a transparent substrate such as a glass plate and a synthetic resin plate, an optical waveguide, and a graded index type lens to serve as an optical coupler which improves the input and/or output efficiency of a light beam in and/or from the optical waveguide. The optical plane circuit does not require troublesome precision registration between the optical waveguide and the optical coupler, and an overall compact circuit may be achieved. Connection loss due to connection between the optical waveguide and the optical coupler is small. The coupling efficiency is not degraded even if the cross-sectional shape of the optical waveguide expands along the plane of the substrate. Input and/or output of a light beam into and/or from the optical waveguide may be performed with excellent efficiency and reliability. A method for manufacturing this optical plane circuit is also provided.

    摘要: A plate lens comprising a transparent base having two flat surfaces and having a plano-convex lens portion which is formed integrally with the transparent base, which has a refractive index greater than that of the transparent base and which has a substantially semicircular or circular section in a direction perpendicular to the flat surfaces of the transparent base. The plate lens has a light-shielding layer on one surface of the transparent base, as needed. The light-shielding layer covers one surface of the transparent base such that a transparent portion may be formed in the vicinity of a position opposing the central point or line of the plano-convex lens portion. The plate lens provides a clear and bright image and is therefore applicable to faceplates for various types of display devices, CRTs and the like. The plate lens may be mass-produced at low cost.

    摘要: In a knock detecting apparatus for an internal combustion engine, a comparator receives at one input a knock detection signal from a knock sensor and at the other input a knock discrimination level signal produced by a knock discrimination level generator in accordance with the knock detection signal of the knock sensor. A mask circuit inhibits the passage of the comparison output signal of the comparator during a period in which a number of noises are generated from the internal combustion engine and at the same time interrupts the operation of the knock discrimination level generator.
