摘要: The present invention relates to methods and arrangements to optimize load transportation between a P2P live streaming network and an access network. The method comprises steps like: a peer in the access network selects a live channel to use; a request comprising information of the selected channel is sent from the access network to the streaming network a converter node connecting the P2P live streaming network and the access network detects that a number of peers in the access network using the selected channel has reached a predetermined threshold value (T) and chunks that are parts of the selected channel arriving from peers in the streaming network are converted in the converter node from P2P format to multicast format.

摘要: Method performed by a first device for sending a modified encoded radio block to a second device. The first device and the second device operate in a wireless communications network. The first device selects a set of bit positions of an encoded radio block that has the second device as intended recipient. The set of bit positions is unique to a value of an extended Temporary Flow Identifier, eTFI, assigned to the second device, or the set of bit positions is unique to a case in which no eTFI has been assigned to the second device. The first device performs a modulo-2-addition of the selected set of bit positions of the encoded radio block with a pre-determined bit pattern, to obtain a modified encoded radio block. The first device sends the modified encoded radio block to the second device.

摘要: A system and method in which each node in a Content Distribution Network (CDN) maintains information about the most-recent state of the CDN as a whole to decide what bandwidth to use when serving a content subscriber so that the total bandwidth of the entire multimedia content streamed/delivered to the subscriber through various nodes in the CDN remains within a pre-defined bandwidth cap for the subscriber. The entire CDN is thus treated as a single edge node. Each node in a CDN may periodically transmit to all other nodes in the CDN, information about any activity that occurs at the transmitting node. Instead of reporting to all the nodes, the transmitting node may report details of its node-specific activity to a subset of “interested” nodes. Once each node has a model of what the entire CDN system is currently doing, that node can implement bandwidth management in a coherent manner.

摘要: A method is implemented by a centralized control plane device for a software defined networking (SDN) network. The method performs joint inter-domain and intra-domain traffic engineering as a single optimization process with location varying objectives. The method includes generating a joint representation of interdomain and intradomain traffic demand with spatial differentiation where each domain can have individually defined optimization objectives. The method further includes determining a set of candidate paths for each source-destination pairs (SD) in the SDN network using the joint representation, selecting a candidate path from the set of candidate paths for each SD pair in the SDN network, and programming a set of switches in the data plane of the SDN network to forward the data traffic according to the selected candidate path.

In addition, the reporting communication node reports to a different communication node (14, 15) or within the communication node (12, 14), the performance measurement per user equipment when the performance measurement per user equipment goes beyond the threshold value.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a method and a serving radio base station (RBS) for link adaptation (LA) of PDCCH. The method includes obtaining information about a reduced power subframe (RPS) pattern used by a neighboring RBS. An indication of a reception quality of the PDCCH at a user equipment (UE) is obtained. A determination is made whether the obtained indication relates to an RPS or a non-RPS according to the obtained information. A first LA loop for a PDCCH to the first UE is controlled. The first LA loop relates to non-RPS. A second LA loop for the PDCCH to the UE is controlled. The second LA loop relates to RPS. At least one of the first and second LA algorithms, depending on the determining, is controlled based on the obtained indication of a reception quality.
