摘要: Method and apparatus thereof to separate aluminum from aluminum-containing source material, such as fly ash, includes preparing a slurry of the source material and water in an agitation tank and adding a leaching reactant to the slurry in an amount dependent on the amount of aluminum in the source material. After agitation, transferring the mixture to a settling pond. After settling, transferring the liquid as a pregnant solution to an electric cell. Treating the pregnant solution in the electric cell by applying an electrical current that is periodically reversed as the pregnant solution passes between at least two metal plates in the electric cell. Collecting the treated solution in a cone bottom tank and separating aluminum particles from the treated solution using a filter press. Drying the particulate aluminum and pressing the aluminum into solid shapes.

摘要: The present disclosure is directed to a system and method for disinfecting medical waste. The method includes shredding the medical waste via a shredder until the medical waste has a predetermined particle size. Further steps include spreading the medical waste onto a heating conveyor and conveying the shredded medical waste through a heating chamber via a heating conveyor. Thus, within the heating chamber, the shredded medical waste is heated via one or more infrared heating elements and at least one additional heating source, e.g. induction heating, such that the medical waste is heated from a plurality of directions. The resulting treated medical waste is biologically inert and clean and can be disposed of in standard commercial garbage or roll-off bins, which are typically located at medical facilities.

摘要: An apparatus for washing and grading sand and aggregate includes an aggregate grading and washing screen with a plurality of vertically stacked decks for producing a plurality of aggregate products therefrom, and at least one sump for collecting undersize material comprising sand and water from the plurality of decks. A plurality of sand washing and grading units each include a first hydrocyclone, a vibratory screen having a deck, and a sump beneath the deck for receiving undersize material and water passing through the deck. The deck of the vibratory screen receives an underflow from the first hydrocyclone. A further hydrocyclone receives undersize material and water from the vibratory screen's sump. Underflow from the further hydrocyclone is delivered onto the deck of the vibratory screen. The first hydrocyclone of each sand washing and grading unit receives undersize material and water from the sump of the aggregate washing and grading screen.

摘要: A portable processing plant for processing granular material is provided. The portable plant includes a plurality of portable processing modules configured to be stacked vertically to allow for a vertically downward progression of the generally granular material through the portable processing plant. Each portable processing module includes a self-supporting independent frame structure and has at least one processing component affixed to the self-supporting independent frame structure. The self-supporting independent frame structures of the plurality of portable processing modules combine to define a structural skeleton of the portable processing plant. Each self-supporting independent frame structure can be removed from the structural skeleton substantially fully assembled while the at least one processing component carried by the self-supporting. Methods of assembling and disassembling the portable processing plant are also provided.
