摘要: There is provided means with which, during frozen storage of a biological sample or a drug, the biological sample or drug stored inside a frozen storage container is not susceptible to contamination.A frozen storage container 10 includes a container body 11 with an internal space 13, and a partition wall 12 which divides the internal space 13 of the container body 11 at least into a first space 14 and a second space 15. In the container body 11, the first space 14 is liquid-tightly sealed, the second space 15 has an opening 22 which is in communication with the outside, and the second space 15 is liquid-tightly sealable by welding the container body 11. A frozen storage container system 40 includes the frozen storage container 10; and a needle member 41 which includes a needle tip portion 42 capable of being inserted into the internal space 13 of the container body 11 and capable of piercing the partition wall 12, and has a flow path which is opened at the needle tip portion 42 and is opened at a base end portion 43 opposite to the needle tip portion 42.

摘要: The invention provides a method for sterilizing a blood purifier, as well as a blood purifier package. The method is effective to decrease the amounts of extracts from the blood purifier attributed to the deterioration of the selectively permeable separation membranes with time during and after exposure to a radioactive ray or an electron ray, and is highly reliable in safety when employed for hemocatharsis therapy. The method for sterilizing a blood purifier which comprises substantially dried selectively permeable separation membranes as a main component, by way of the exposure of the same blood purifier to a radioactive ray and/or an electron ray, is characterized in that the blood purifier is sealed in a packaging bag, together with an oxygen scavenger and a humectant or together with an oxygen scavenger capable of releasing a moisture, and is then sterilized in such a sealed state by the above exposure.

摘要: A blood flow meter capable of measuring the flow rate of the blood flow with high accuracy in a blood vessel of a living body is provided. An element holding body having a tubular shape and having an outer diameter smaller than or equal to the outer diameter of a hollow shaft, which has flexibility and is insertable into a blood vessel, is provided on the distal side of the shaft so as to be coaxial with the shaft. A flow rate sensor is accommodated in the element holding body. The flow rate sensor has a measurement element in which a nickel wire is spirally wound to be formed into a coil shape so that adjacent nickel wires are not in contact with each other and are insulated. A thermal conductive insulating member is provided between the flow rate sensor and the element holding body in the element holding body and the flow rate sensor is fixed in the element holding body by the insulating member.

摘要: To prevent a user from accidentally pricking the user with a hollow needle when separating blood components using a syringe and a connection device. A blood component separation apparatus has three syringes and a connection device. The connection device is attached to one syringe and is inserted into other syringes. The connection device has a first member to which a base end of a hollow needle is joined and a second member which is connected to the first member in such a manner as to be able to move relative to the first member. The second member is moved back and forth between a first position where a tip of the hollow needle is accommodated and a second position where the tip of the hollow needle is exposed. The second member has elastic portions which are elastically deformed in the movement from the first position to the second position. The elastically deformed elastic portions elastically energize the second member at the second position to the first position side with respect to the first member.

摘要: A drug delivering apparatus includes a drug container, a pre-filled syringe including a cylindrical container having a nozzle portion and an injection needle attachment portion, and a connecting tool configured to allow communication between the inside of the cylindrical container and the inside of the drug container. The connecting tool further includes a nozzle insertion portion. The pre-filled syringe further includes a cap member configured to be detachably fitted on the injection needle attachment portion, the cap member having an opening into which the nozzle insertion portion can be inserted. The injection needle attachment portion has a guiding groove in the inner periphery thereof. In the state where the cap member is fitted on the injection attachment portion, at least a part of the edge of the opening is located on the inner side relative to the bottom portion of the guiding groove.

摘要: A puncture needle includes a needle tube 1 provided with a spiral groove 3 and wall surfaces 3a and 3b of the spiral groove 3 serve as a surface for reflecting ultrasonic waves. The spiral groove is formed on the peripheral surface of the needle tube such that a grinding stone 2 is brought into contact with the peripheral surface of the needle tube while the needle tube 1 is being moved in its axial direction and rotated. The wall surfaces of the spiral groove formed on the needle tube serve as a reflection surface to change the orientation of the reflection surface in the axial direction of the needle tube according to change in position of the spiral. Therefore, even if a direction in which an ultrasonic wave is applied to the puncture needle is fixed, any portion of the reflection surface changing in orientation can become a surface for reflecting well ultrasonic waves, so that good ultrasonic waves can be obtained. The slant angles of the reflection surfaces in the axial direction of the needle tube can be changed by adjusting the moving speed in the axial direction of the needle tube or the rotation speed.
