Abstract:
A carrier belt for fabricating a device or component such as an anisotropic conductive film. The carrier belt includes a substrate having a sacrificial image enhancing layer. Microcavities are formed in the carrier by laser ablation through the image enhancing layer. After the image enhancement layer is removed, a plurality of conductive particles are distributed into an array of microcavities formed by laser ablation on a surface of a carrier belt and transferred to an adhesive layer. The image enhancing layer enables one to form microcavities with a fine pitch and spacing and partitions having a high aspect ratio.

Also disclosed is a method for using the contrast agent.
Abstract:
The present invention uses an AC voltage instead of DC voltage on an ion gate to filter/selectively pass ions. The ions that pass through the AC ion gate can be further separated in a spectrometric instrument. An ion mobility spectrometer using the AC ion gate can achieve better gating performance. For a time of flight ion mobility spectrometer with an AC ion gate, a narrow pulse of selected ions can be passed into a drift tube where they are separated based on their low field ion mobility. Moreover, when the AC voltage at the AC ion gate has a waveform as used for differential ion mobility spectrometry, the time of flight ion mobility spectrometer is converted into a two dimensional separation spectrometer, where ions are first separated based on their high field ion mobility and then further separated based on their low field ion mobility.
Abstract:
Paper-made composite furniture comprises at least two connection tubes and at least one spacer that are coupled together. Each connection tube is a hollow tube with an inner side made of spool paper and an outer side made of kraft paper. The connection tube has at least one latch groove. The spacer is a solid panel made of the spool paper with the outer side coated by the kraft paper. The spacer has two sides wedged in the latch grooves of the connection tubes. The spool paper has characteristics to withstand greater loading and pressure, thus can replace the conventional furniture made of woods, plastics or metal. The invention not only can reduce material, transportation and assembly costs, also can reduce environmental pollution and facilitate carrying and assembly during outing. The kraft paper can be formed with colors, patterns or texts, thus can provide greater visual appeal.
Abstract:
A resonance device includes a base, a mass, a plurality of elastic portions and at least one end surface. The mass has at least one end surface. The elastic portions are connected between the mass and the base, in which the mass is adapted to resonate in a first direction such that the elastic portions are elastically deformed. The block portion is disposed at the base and extends towards the end surface to be aligned to the end surface, in which the gap between the base and the end surface in the first direction is greater than the gap between the block portion and the end surface in the first direction, and the block portion is adapted to block the end surface to limit the moving range of the mass.

In one embodiment, an method apparatus includes an optically clear adhesive (OCA) layer between a cover sheet and a substrate. The substrate has drive or sense electrodes of a touch sensor disposed on a first surface and a second surface of the substrate. The first surface is opposite the second surface and the drive or sense electrodes are made of a conductive mesh of conductive material including metal.
Abstract:
An ion mobility spectrometer wherein ions are separated along a drift axis while providing a drift gas flow in a direction that is substantially neither in the direction of the drift axis nor opposite to the drift axis. An ion mobility spectrometer and operation methods use a cross-directional gas flow in a drift tube and/or a segmented drift tube for pre-separation.

An LCD panel with color washout improvement. In one embodiment, the LCD panel includes a plurality of pixels spatially arranged in a matrix form, each pixel defined between a respective pair of scanning lines (Gn, Gn—CS) and two neighboring data lines Dm and Dm+1, comprising a pixel electrode, a first transistor electrically coupled to the scanning lines Gn, the date line Dm and the pixel electrode, and a second transistor electrically coupled to the scanning lines Gn—CS and the pixel electrode such that when N pairs of scanning signals to the N pairs of scanning lines {Gn, Gn—CS} and a plurality of data signals to the data lines, the pixel electrode of each pixel has a first voltage at the first duration of a frame period, and a second voltage at the second duration of the frame period, respectively. The first and second voltages are substantially different from each other.
Abstract:
An auto-focus camera module includes an lens module, an image sensor, a color separation unit, a main processor unit and an image processing unit. The lens module captures an image of object. The image sensor receives the image captured by the lens module. The color separation unit separates the image into red, green and blue colors. The main processor unit calculates MTF values of the sensed image and determines a shooting mode of the AF camera. The image processing unit processes the image according to the MTF values to compensate for any blurring of the image caused by being out of focus. The driving unit drives the lens module to the point of optimal focus on the object according to MTF values.
Abstract:
A modeling method of neuro-fuzzy system including a rule-defining process and a network-building process is disclosed. The rule-defining process divides a plurality of training data into a plurality of groups to accordingly define a plurality of fuzzy rules, and the network-building process constructs a fuzzy neural network based on the fuzzy rules obtained by the rule-defining process. The provided modeling method of neuro-fuzzy system is capable of building a neuro-fuzzy system extremely similar to an original function that generates training data of the neuro-fuzzy system.
