    Abstract: A driving assistance system for a vehicle includes a control operable to control the vehicle in an autonomous or semi-autonomous mode. When operating in the autonomous mode, driving of the vehicle is controlled by the control without human intervention and, when operating in the semi-autonomous mode, an occupant of the vehicle at least partially drives the vehicle. The control learns a driving style of a particular occupant when the vehicle is being driven by that particular occupant and when the control is operating in the semi-autonomous mode. The control, when operating in the autonomous mode, controls the vehicle in accordance with the learned driving style of the particular occupant of the vehicle. Responsive to a determination of a characteristic of an occupant in the vehicle, the control, when operating in the autonomous, may adjust control of the vehicle irrespective of the learned driving style of the particular occupant.

    Abstract: A vehicle monitoring system includes a central processor operable to receive data from multiple vehicles, with each of the multiple vehicles being equipped with a plurality of vision sensors, a plurality of non-vision sensors, and an ECU. The central processor is operable to wirelessly receive, from each of the multiple vehicles, vehicle data and environment data. Responsive to vehicle data and environment data received from the multiple vehicles, the central processor determines if one or more of the vehicles is at or approaching a hazardous condition. Responsive to the determination that one or more of the vehicles is a threatened vehicle at a potentially hazardous condition, the central monitoring system at least one of (i) actuates an alert of the threatened vehicle to alert a driver of that vehicle of the determined hazardous condition and (ii) controls a vehicle system of the threatened vehicle to mitigate the determined hazardous condition.

    Abstract: A vision system of a vehicle includes a forward viewing imager, a rearward viewing imager and sideward viewing imagers. The forward viewing imager is disposed at a forward portion of the vehicle and has a forward field of view. The rearward viewing imager is disposed at a rearward portion of the vehicle and has a rearward field of view rearward of the vehicle. The sideward viewing imagers are disposed at respective sides of the vehicle and have respective sideward fields of view sideward of the vehicle. At least one of the forward viewing imager, the rearward viewing imager and the sideward viewing imagers is dynamically adjustable via a respective stepper motor. The fields of view of the imagers may be adjustable via the respective stepper motors responsive to actuation of a user input and/or a speed input indicative of the traveling speed of the vehicle.
