摘要： Users can create computational models in a spreadsheet application and automatically apply the model to data stored in a relational database. By importing a sample of the data from a database table into the spreadsheet application, users can build spreadsheet models that perform analysis and computations on the sample data. Once the model is complete, the spreadsheet model is translated into an SQL format model understood by the database. The SQL model can operate on the entire data set in the database, rather than just the sample data used to construct the model. The SQL model and its associated data are stored in the database, and the model can be executed on a different sets of data. A web browser based front-end allows model users to access the SQL model via a web browser, eliminating the need for model users to have a spreadsheet application.

摘要： A rear-mounted air guide device for a motor vehicle includes an air guide element which can be adjusted in relation to the vehicle body between a retracted inactive position and an extended active position. In the retracted inactive position, the air guide element, which forms the upper body surface in some regions, has a different attack angle than in the extended active position, in which the air guide element extends in a spaced manner to the upper body surface. A device, provided for fastening and adjusting the air guide element, has a simpler design, can be produced more inexpensively, and requires little space, is provided by way of at least one support, seated displaceably on the vehicle body, which can be moved in the vertical direction and which includes on its upper end region a contact area for the air guide element pivoted on the support. The air guide element, in the extended active position, rests in some regions on the contact area of the support and is held in this position by a spring element. In retracted inactive position, the air guide element is swiveled against the action of the spring element and is supported on its bottom by the vehicle body.

摘要： The invention relates to methods for individually separating microorganisms from a suspension or culture, parallel cultivation of individual cells and analyzing the metabolic performances thereof. The invention enables basic microbial operations such as media optimization, screening according to images of novel natural substances and special metabolic performances, qualitative and quantitative detection of the effects of nutrient substrates, effectors and active substances including the media optimization and selection of microorganism clones with specific properties from large populations according to mutagenesis, transformation, transfection and genetic processing in addition to the detection of microbial contaminations to be carried out. One advantage of the invention is that it can be applied when microorganisms having outstanding properties can be respectively obtained as individual cells or individual organisms from a large population and can be characterized as pure cultures or when the effect of influencing variables can be examined in many fully comparable cultures.
