    摘要: A table forming apparatus useful in forming a complex or large-sized table. In a partial ruled table survey model forming unit, a user selects a model for a survey of a partial ruled table, and designates necessary parameters, whereby a survey of partial ruled table is produced. Data is inputted by a partial table input unit with employing this survey, thereby producing a partial table which will then be stored into a partial table retaining unit. On the other hand, when the user defines information about a relationship between the partial tables, e.g., adjacent information and subdivision information by a partial table relationship information defining unit, this relationship information is retained in a partial table relationship retaining unit. A plurality of partial tables retained by the partial table retaining unit are synthesized by a synthesizing unit with use of the relationship information retained in the partial table relationship information retaining unit, whereby an overall table is formed.

    摘要: A table allocating apparatus for producing a layout of a table. In the apparatus, both of a linear equation for representing a column width of a table or a row height thereof by employing a parameter, and a section constraint condition corresponding to a combination of conditions for satisfying the parameter in order that a height or a width of a rectangle becomes constant when each of texts arranged in a table item column is allocated are set, then a layout evaluation formula expressed by the linear equation with employment of the parameter and indicative of better states of a layout for each of the section constraint conditions is calculated. Further, such a linear programming problem that the section constraint condition is used as a restriction condition and the layout evaluation formula corresponding to each of the section constraint conditions is used as an objective function is solved, thereby obtaining a set of an optimum layout evaluation value and a parameter corresponding to the optimum layout evaluation value, or an infeasible solution of the problem, and when the set of the optimum layout evaluation value and the parameter corresponding thereto is acquired, a set of the optimum layout evaluation value and the parameter corresponding thereto based on the acquired result among all of the linear programming problems are retrieved, whereby a table layout is determined based upon the set of the optimum layout evaluation value and the parameter corresponding thereto.

Also, the distance measuring device comprises a plurality of upper and lower photoelectric conversion element arrays arranged with respect to a pair of photographic subject images for detecting a pair of photographic subject images of the same portion of the photographic subject, an image information generating section for generating image information in the same direction as an image shift direction of the photographic subject image of the same portion of the photographic subject by processing left image information and right image information converted photoelectrically by the plurality of upper and lower photoelectric conversion element arrays, and an image shift quantity detecting section for detecting a shift quantity of the photographic subject image of the same portion of the photographic subject, based on a pair of left image information and right image information generated. Based on the detected shift quantity, a distance up to the photographic subject is measured.

    摘要: A valid bit generator of a base station generates a valid bit to be disposed at or near the top of a message to be transmitted. The valid bit is set to be inactive if the message can be ignored, or active if the message cannot be ignored. Upon reception of this message, a valid bit detector at each terminal station judges whether the valid bit of the received message is inactive or active. If the valid bit is inactive, a message analyzing process is immediately stopped, whereas if it is active, the message is received and analyzed to the end thereof.
