    摘要: The control valve for pouring color paste in both large amount and small amount, comprising a valve body and a valve element disposed in the valve body. The valve body is provided with a large pump inlet-outlet opening, a small pump inlet-outlet opening, a colorant bucket inlet-outlet opening and a colorant dispensing outlet. The valve core, which is provided with a passage, is rotated to allow connection of the large pump inlet-outlet opening and the small pump inlet-outlet opening with a colorant bucket or dispensing thereof, with at least the following three connecting structures being involved: (1) where the large pump inlet-outlet opening connects with the colorant bucket; the small pump inlet-outlet opening connects with the colorant bucket; the large pump inlet-outlet opening and the small pump inlet-outlet opening both connect with the colorant bucket; and the three ways are for single or combined use; (2) where single dispensing via the large pump inlet-outlet opening or dispensing via both the large pump inlet-outlet opening and the small pump inlet-outlet opening is allowed; alternatively, the large pump inlet-outlet opening connects with the colorant dispensing outlet for dispensing, or the large pump inlet-outlet opening and the small pump inlet-outlet opening both connect with the colorant dispensing outlet for dispensing; (3) where single dispensing via the small pump inlet-outlet opening is allowed, or the small pump inlet-outlet opening connects with the colorant dispensing outlet for dispensing. The control valve disclosed in the present invention is compact in structure and ingenious in design, and may fully achieve the objective of dispensing of large amount colorant or a small amount colorant by rotating the valve core; moreover, the objectives of cleaning the pump and preventing colorant drying and hardening in a colorant circulating pipe and a colorant outlet may be achieved.

    摘要: A fluid metering system for accurately and consistently mixing two or more fluids together. The fluid metering system generally includes a closed loop feedback system that monitors the flow rate of the water and the volume of liquid chemical added to the water over a period of time. Based on the measured amount of chemical added to the water over a period of time, the system calculates whether or not an adjustment is required for the next addition of chemical to the water. The present invention utilizes a measuring tube that is filled with a chemical wherein a pressure sensor measures the pressure of the chemical in the measuring tube when filled and after being emptied to calculate the total volume of chemical added to the water.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a method of dispensing accurately small amounts of high viscosity lubricant components using tubeless positive-displacement liquid-handling equipment for forming lubricant blends. The method includes the steps of: providing a low void volume positive displacement pipette with a tapered tip for each lubricant component contained within a lubricant additive reservoir, and one or more lubricant blend containers; ingesting into a low void volume positive displacement pipette from a lubricant additive reservoir an ingestion volume of a lubricant component; moving the low void volume positive displacement pipette from the lubricant additive reservoir to the one or more lubricant blend containers; ejecting into the one or more lubricant blend containers an ejection volume of the lubricant component from the low void volume positive displacement pipette; returning the low void volume positive displacement pipette from the one or more lubricant blend containers to the additive reservoir; and repeating these steps for each additional lubricant component. The advantages of the method of the present invention include improved dispensing accuracy, quicker dispensing, lower shear rate during dispensing, lower temperature for dispensing, less residual additive on the tip of the device after dispensing, and the ability to real time monitor density and mass during dispensing. The method finds application in laboratory test environments, and in particular in high throughput testing environments.

The assembly includes a valve mechanism that has a first valve disc with a first opening in fluid communication with a fluid inlet of the pump assembly and with a second opening in fluid communication with an interior portion of the pump assembly. The valve mechanism also has a second valve disc with a dispensing opening and an inlet channel. The first and second valve discs are also rotatable with respect to each other between at least a dispensing position in which the second opening and the dispensing opening are aligned making dispensing of fluid possible and at least an inlet position in which the inlet channel brings the first opening in fluid communication with the second opening so that the interior portion of the pump assembly is in fluid communication with the fluid inlet of said pump assembly.
