A technique for identifying a measurement planned position for electromagnetic waves in a three-dimensional space in a simple and easy manner is provided. A position of a measuring unit 200 that is carried by an operator 100 is measured by a position measuring device that is configured to measure a position by laser light. A positional relationship between the measured position and the position of a measurement planned position 601 is displayed on a terminal 300 that is carried by the operator 100. This display guides the operator 100, and the operator 100 identifies the measurement planned position 601 and measure illuminance thereat.

A photovoltaic (PV) generating system that includes a plurality of PV tracker units, each having: a PV panel with a plurality of PV generators connected to output electrical power and an actuator for positioning the PV panel. A multiple tracker control unit is in communication with the plurality of PV tracker units, the tracker control unit monitoring the output electrical power of the PV panels and controlling, in dependance on the monitored output electrical power, both: (i) power conversion of the output electrical power and (ii) the actuators of the PV tracker units, to optimize power output for the plurality of PV tracker units.
Abstract:
An agricultural harvester is provided with a pivotable discharge elbow that conveys picked-up and processed crop into a transport container of a transport vehicle. An electro-optical device is correlated with the discharge elbow. An electronic evaluation and control processing unit is connected to the electro-optical device and processes signals received from the electro-optical device to effect an automatic targeted control of the crop stream into the transport container based on the processed signals. The electro-optical device is a 3D laser scanner provided with a 2D laser scanner and a pivot unit that pivots the 2D laser scanner about an approximately horizontal axis.

A luminaire recognition device in a lighting system having multiple luminaires with a dimming function installed in a predetermined area is configured to be arranged at a predetermined location in an area for associating identification information and installation site of each luminaire. The luminaire recognition device includes a controller configured to control an illuminance of each luminaire through communication, a detector configured to detect a brightness at the predetermined location, a memory configured to store correlation information between a brightness and distance from the predetermined location to each luminaire, and a processor configured to change an illuminance of a luminaire to be searched by a defined amount with the controller, calculate a change in brightness detected by the detector, and recognize the luminaire to be searched among the multiple luminaires, based on the change and the correlation information.
