    Abstract: A package film is described. The package film comprises a first foil layer having a thickness of 0.5 mil or less but greater than 0 mil and a second foil layer having a thickness of 0.5 mil or less but greater than 0 mil. The package film also comprises a multilayer structure positioned between the first foil layer and the second foil layer. The multilayer structure has a thickness of from 0.75 mil to 2 mil and comprises (a) a high modulus layer having a secant modulus in each of the machine direction and the transverse direction of greater than 120,000 psi or having an elongation at break in each of the machine direction arid the transverse direction of less than 150% and (b) a bulk layer comprising polyethylene, polypropylene, ionomer, or blends thereof.     Abstract: A propylene polymer satisfying (a) below, a soft propylene copolymer satisfying (b) below, and a polyolefin containing a structural unit derived from an unsaturated carboxylic acid and/or a derivative thereof, wherein (a) a melting point is 100° C. or more, and (b) an MFR is in the range of 0.01 to 100 g/10 min, at least one of the following requirements (b-1) and (b-2) is satisfied: (b-1) a syndiotactic triad fraction s 60% or more, and (b-2) a structural unit derived from propylene is 55 to 90 mol % and a structural unit derived from at least one olefin having 2 to 20 carbon atoms (excluding propylene) is contained at 10 to 45 mol % (with provisos), and the relation between an intrinsic viscosity [η] (dL/g) and the MFR satisfies the relation: 1.50×MFR−0.20≤[η]≤2.65×MFR−0.20.

    Abstract: A negative-side waterproof shell (W-shell) is retrofitted onto a below ground preexisting building subject to water intrusion. The W-shell includes a high density polyethylene (HDPE) membrane adhered to the building's sidewalls and floor. The HDPE membrane has a metal core (usually aluminum). The W-shell includes a concrete shell formed on an inboard side of the HDPE membrane. Typically, the W-shell's concrete typically includes rebar and supplemental vertical columns which are thicker than the W-shell. The HDPE membrane has overlapped seams at the vertical to horizontal transition regions. The core may be non-continuous, in strips, or may be ferrous or non-ferrous metals, alloys or aluminum alloys. The W-shell covers the building's interior concrete-formed structures. To seal high tide salt water intrusion, the W-shell extends above the high tide water line. Also, drain piping, leading to a sump, may be laid between the membrane and the floor.

    Abstract: A packaged inflatable life raft includes a non-inflated life raft and an enclosure around the non-inflated life raft. The enclosure includes a film with a first layer that is innermost toward the non-inflated life raft, a second layer outer from the first layer, a third layer outer from the second layer, and a fourth layer that is outermost from the non-inflated life raft. Additionally, the first layer includes a heat-sealable polymer selected from polyethylene, polypropylene, or a halogenated polymer. At least one of the second and third layers includes a metal foil or a polymer vapor barrier. At least one of the second, third, and fourth layers includes a polyester or polyamide. At least one of the first, second, third, and fourth layers includes a halogenated polymer, or a polymer composition comprising a halogenated or non-halogenated polymer and a fire retardant.
