    Abstract: A communication method and apparatus are disclosed. The method includes determining a first paging hyperframe (PH) based on a first extended discontinuous reception (eDRX) cycle, and determining a second PH based on a second eDRX cycle, where the first PH includes a first paging time window (PTW), and the second PH includes a second PTW; and monitoring a paging occasion (PO) in the first PTW and the second PTW, where if the first PH and the second PH are a same PH, a start position of the first PTW in the first PH is determined based on the first eDRX cycle and an offset.

    Abstract: A method includes: performing, by a terminal device, data transmission based on a configuration parameter of a currently activated first bandwidth part BWP, where the configuration parameter of the first BWP includes at least one of a first resource offset, a first bandwidth, and a first subcarrier spacing; determining, by the terminal device, a first random access resource and a second configuration parameter for random access, where the second configuration parameter includes at least one of a second resource offset, a second bandwidth, and a second subcarrier spacing; sending, by the terminal device, a random access request to the network device on the first random access resource; and receiving, by the terminal device, a random access response based on the second configuration parameter, where the random access response is sent by the network device based on the random access request.

    Abstract: This application provides a communication method and a communications apparatus. A terminal in an inactive state receives a paging message, and content in the paging message is determined. When the content includes a first identity of the terminal, the terminal sends a first request message to a first access network device, where the first request message carries a non-access stratum (NAS) identifier of the terminal. When the content includes a second identity of the terminal and an identity of an anchor access network device, the terminal sends a second request message to the first access network device. The communication method of is application can adapt to a communication requirement of a terminal in an inactive state.

    Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose a message processing method and a device, and relate to the field of communication technologies. In this way, a network device can determine a DC location that is corresponding to communication when a plurality of BWPs are simultaneously activated.     Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure disclose a mobility management method, user equipment, and a base station. The mobility management method may include: receiving, by user equipment UE in a connected mode, a source identifier of the UE from a first base station, where the source identifier is used to uniquely identify the UE in the first base station; entering, by the UE, a low-overhead state in the case that a low-overhead activation condition is satisfied, where in the low-overhead state, the UE stores a connection context of the UE in the connected mode, and camps on a cell according to a cell reselection criterion during movement; and reporting, by the UE when a first preset condition is satisfied, the source identifier to a second base station to which a second cell belongs, where the second cell is a serving cell on which the UE currently camps.
