    摘要: A vehicle headlamp includes a projector-type lamp unit that performs two types of light distribution. The lamp unit is configured with a projection lens disposed on an optical axis Ax extending in an longitudinal direction of a vehicle, and a first light-source unit and a second light-source unit, both disposed to the rear of the projection lens. A low-beam light distribution pattern having sharp cut-off lines at an upper end portion is formed upon illumination of the first light-source unit. An additional high-beam light distribution pattern spreading upward from the cut-off lines is additionally formed upon illumination of the second light-source unit. Accordingly, a high-beam light distribution pattern is formed.

The guide member comprises a guide part having a U-shaped cross-section and defining a linear guide groove therein into which is slidably inserted a rotation-preventing member rigidly mounted on the wobble plate, and a pair of half cylinder shaped sliding parts mounted on opposite sides of the guide part for sliding in the inner wall surface of the housing. The inner surface of the guide member is hardened by surface treatment.

    摘要: The present invention provides an acrylic polymer containing no surfactant, having little limitation in the polymer composition and being superior in heat resistance, processing operation performance and fluidity, and also provides use of the polymer and a production process. An acrylic polymer of present invention is obtained by the bulk polymerization, contains an acrylic acid-based monomer unit as a main component in its structure and has a Mn of 1,000 to 1,000,000, a glass transition temperature of -80.degree. C. or higher and a Mw/Mn ratio of 5 or less, and is appropriate for acrylic rubber, a pressure-sensitive adhesive, an alkali-soluble adhesive, an alkali-soluble film, an alkali-soluble injection molding or water ink. This polymer is produced by, in the presence of an inactive gas, carrying out the bulk polymerization of a starting material which contains a monomer component having an acrylic acid-based monomer as a main component and contains a sulfur compound of 0.001 to 20 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the monomer component, and contains a polymerization initiator in the weight of one-third or less based on the sulfur compound.

    摘要: A projector lens of a vehicular headlamp has a shape of a convex lens in which the upper and lower portions are cut by a predetermined amount. A light source is disposed above optical axis Ax of the projector lens while a light emission surface is inclined downwardly. A first reflecting mirror has an elliptical reflective surface, and is adjusted in size such that almost all the light reflected from the reflective surface is incident on the projector lens. A shield plate is disposed in the vicinity of the focus of the first reflecting mirror to form a horizontal cutoff line. A second reflecting mirror is disposed to reflect light that is not incident on the first reflecting mirror. The third reflecting mirror is disposed above the upper end of the shield plate at a position that does not interfere with the light reflected from the first reflecting mirror.

    摘要: In a vehicle ceiling structure, a long reinforcing rib is attached to a ceiling member of the vehicle, the rib being made of a resin having a different coefficient of thermal expansion from that of the ceiling member. The reinforcing rib comprises a plurality of segmented ribs that are divided by a gap in a longitudinal direction. One segmented rib of adjoining segmented ribs and is formed, in upper and lower parts of a front end portion thereof, with an upper protrusion and a lower protrusion protruding in the longitudinal direction. One segmented rib and the other segmented rib fit with each other such that a lower face of the upper protrusion and an upper face of the lower protrusion of the one segmented rib respectively face a rear end portion of the other segmented rib in an up and down direction.
