    摘要: A color image forming apparatus wherein a plurality of developing devices or units are supported on a supporting member or turret which is rotatable to revolve the developing devices to move a desired one of the developing devices to a developing station where the developing operation is effected with the desired one of the developing devices so that a color image is formed. The presence, absence or the amount of the developer within the developing devices are detected. When the detection indicates that the toner is to be supplied into a developing device, the developing device is moved to a predetermined developer supplying position, and then is stopped so that the developing device is supplied with the developer at the developer supplying position.

    摘要: A compressor bypass passage has an inlet portion and an outlet portion which is connected to the suction passage. The inlet portion of the bypass passage has an opening which is able to be open to the compression chamber when the compression chamber is in a decreasing volume stroke, thereby to spill the refrigerant from the compression chamber into the suction passage. A control pressure chamber is formed in the housing. A valve member is arranged in the inlet portion of the bypass passage. The valve member is actuated in response to a variety of pressures of the refrigerant in the control pressure chamber for adjusting the area of the opening of the inlet portion of the bypass passage. A pressure supply passage for supplying a refrigerant, which pressure is higher than the pressure in the suction passage, is connected to the control pressure chamber. A spill passage for spilling a part of the refrigerant interconnects the control pressure chamber to the suction passage. A pressure control valve is arranged in the pressure supply passage or in the spill passage for controlling the pressure in the control pressure chamber.

    摘要: An electrophotographic method and apparatus is disclosed which is able to faithfully reproduce the half-tone portion of an original image on a photosensitive medium having an electroconductive layer, a photoconductive layer and an insulating surface layer. The present invention is directed particularly to improvements in the secondary charging step in the above method. According to the invention, the process of secondary charge includes the steps of subjecting the photosensitive medium to the action of corona discharge having the component of opposite polarity to that of the primary charge with simultaneous light image exposure, exposing the photosensitive medium surface to a light image while reducing or stopping the action of corona discharge and exposing the photosensitive medium surface to a light image while controlling the amount of corona discharge.

    摘要: Provided is an automatic record player capable of changing discs automatically. The record player includes a spindle having holder claws for holding the record disc and a large gear adapted to be rotated in accordance with the rotation of the turn table of the player and to move the pickup of the player. The large gear is provided with a first cam groove for continuing the playing and a second cam groove for ceasing the playing, and a switching member adapted to guide a guide pin of a pickup driving member selectively to either one of the cam grooves. The switching member in turn is adapted to be controlled by a switching controlling member. The switching controlling member is adapted to be engaged, when at least a record disc is held by said holder claws, by a spindle shaft which has been lowered due to the weight of the disc to a predetermined lowered position, and biases the switching member so as to make the latter guide the guide pin of the driving member into the cam groove for continuing the playing. To the contrary, when there is no disc carried by the holder claws, the switching controlling member is not engaged by the spindle shaft, because the latter is not lowered, so that it is moved to an inoperative position where it biases the switching member such that the guide pin of the pickup driving member into the cam groove for ceasing the playing.
