Disclosed herein is a method for controlling an electromotive compressor in a heat pump system for a vehicle. In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, an unexpected cutoff of a compressor attributable to overload and the generation of noise and vibration attributable to frequent restarts can be prevented by controlling the number of rotations of the compressor within a specific range based on the discharge pressure of the compressor.

Disclosed herein is a bulkhead sealing assembly including, a sealing-function group having a base plate, an outer sealing portion, and at least one inner sealing portion. The bulkhead sealing assembly further includes an elastic tolerance compensation member and a receiving memberformed as a flange surface of a housing of a vehicle air-conditioning system. The bulkhead sealing assembly has a tolerance compensation function for at least one connector through-portion which penetrates a vehicle bulkhead.

The invention relates to a ball valve (1), particularly for use in motor vehicle refrigerant circuits, having an actuator (2), a shaft (3) including a shaft bearing (5), a ball (4) including a ball passage (16), and a valve housing (13). Said ball valve is characterised in that a fluid shaft seal (8) is arranged in the shaft bearing (5) between an upper shaft seal (6) and a lower shaft seal (7), wherein the fluid shaft seal (8) is formed by a cavity (18) in which a sealing fluid is provided, and that the sealing fluid is in contact with the shaft (3) in a sealing region (19) such that the sealing fluid has a sealing effect in the axial direction, wherein the cavity (18) is at least partially formed by a diaphragm (11) and is limited on the shaft (3) by the shaft seals (6, 7), and that the diaphragm (11) is formed in such a way that pressure can be applied to the side facing away from the sealing fluid.

A heat exchanger, designed in particular for vehicles with an internal combustion engine, consisting of an insulated container connected to a cooling circuit of the vehicle, where inside of the container a heat storage unit (HSU) filled with phase-change material (PCM) is arranged. The heat storage unit (HSU) consists of a system of adjacently arranged aluminium extruded profiles, whose ends, provided with end caps to allow their filling with a phase transition material, are anchored in the face walls of the container, wherein the aluminium extruded profile, provided with at least one inner fin, has the shape of a square, rectangle, circular arc, or other known shape.

Disclosed therein is an air conditioner for a vehicle, which includes: a bypass passageway formed at a lower portion of an air-conditioning case which bypasses cold air and warm air passageways; a regeneration passageway formed at the lower portion of the air-conditioning case for supplying the air passing through the bypass passageway to a regeneration part of the desiccant rotor; and a heater having one side area arranged on the bypass passageway and the other side area arranged on the warm air passageway. The air conditioner heats the dehumidified air passing through the desiccant part of the desiccant rotor and the bypass passageway by the heater and supplies the heated air to the regeneration part of the desiccant rotor so as to regenerate the desiccant rotor, thereby reducing the number of components and the entire size and enhancing heating performance and increasing an air volume by moving the air, which is heated while passing the bypass passageway through a door mounted in the communication chamber, toward the warm air passageway in a heating mode.

A rear air conditioner for a vehicle including a discharge module mounted at an air outflow port of an air-conditioning case and having a discharge case and a rotary mode door; two face vents formed at both side walls of the discharge case; a floor vent formed at the center of the discharge case; and an air mixing zone formed inside the rotary mode door, thereby reducing the size of the air conditioner because a plurality of the vents are intensively arranged in the discharge case, enhancing installability due to the modulated components, reducing a temperature difference of the air discharged to the left and right sides inside the vehicle due to an improved mixability. The inside of the rotary mode door can be utilized as the air mixing zone. The degrees of opening of the face vents and the floor vent are controlled by the single mode door.
