A method and an apparatus for requesting resource allocation in a mobile communication terminal are provided. In the method, a priority of each logical channel when there is transmission data to be transmitted is determined. A weight is applied to a size of transmission data for each logical channel according to the priority. A Buffer Status Report (BSR) message representing the size of the transmission data for each logical channel to which the weight has been applied is generated. The BSR message is transmitted to a base station.
Abstract:
Provided is a method of classifying colors of a color based image code. The colors of each cell forming the color based image code are classified by sampling a predetermined number of pixels from each cell and then applying a max channel based clustering method, a white balance based color clustering method, a single-linkage algorithm based color classification method, a K-means algorithm based color classification method, or the like. Accordingly, the colors of an image code can be accurately recognized despite of a color distortion due to characteristics of a camera, a printing medium, etc.

A channel control apparatus for an Internet protocol television (IPTV) broadcasting service, which selects and pre-joins channels based on data regarding a channel zapping pattern of a user, thereby effectively reducing channel zapping time, and a method of pre-joining channels using the channel control apparatus are provided. The channel control apparatus comprises: a pattern information collection unit configured to collect data regarding a channel zapping pattern of a user for a cycle of a previously set period; a bandwidth management unit configured to set a pre-joining bandwidth, which is an allowable bandwidth for channels to be pre-joined, based on the collected data; a channel selection unit configured to select channels to be pre-joined according to channel preference of a user; and a channel pre-join unit configured to pre-join the channels selected by the channel selection unit within the set pre-joining bandwidth.

Provided is a sequential transmission multi-beamforming apparatus and method with a low complexity based on a Hadamard matrix. A simple codebook may be generated based on the Hadamard matrix and thus, a number of weighted-vectors is reduced and a complexity of hardware is decreased. A diversity gain may be maximized based on a spatial diversity processing apparatus and a beamforming weighted vector may be systematically generated.

The present invention provides a cell or stack for evaluating the performance of a fuel cell and a method of evaluating the performance of the fuel cell using the cell or stack, in which a semiconductor thermoelectric device, attached to the side surface of the unit cell or stack of the fuel cell, is provided maintain the cell or stack at a uniform temperature. The temperatures of an anode and a cathode of the fuel cell can be precisely changed or maintained such that the performance of the fuel cell can also be measured in sub-zero temperature conditions without requiring a separate environmental chamber. A rate of temperature decrease, at which the temperature decreases to a certain sub-zero temperature, or a rate of temperature increase can be precisely controlled.
