    摘要: Aspects of the invention can provide a lamp device that is capable of avoiding concentration of stresses in a sub-mirror fixing portion of an arc tube. The lamp device can include an arc tube provided with a bulb portion encapsulating inside a pair of electrodes, and a pair of sealing portions formed continuously from the bulb portion and sealing inside electrode axes having the electrodes at tip ends and conductor foils to bring the electrode axes into conduction, a main reflection mirror, to which the sealing portion is fixed, to reflect lights emitted from the arc tube toward an illuminated region, and a sub-mirror fixed to the sealing portion in such a manner that a reflection surface opposes the main reflection mirror with the bulb portion in between. The sub-mirror can be bonded with a bonding agent to a surface region of the sealing portion present in a direction moving away from the bulb portion in reference to a position corresponding to a termination of the electrode axis.

    摘要: To fully evaluate a real signal line and a real memory cell adjacent to a dummy signal line and utilize dummy signal line as real signal line, a semiconductor memory includes at least one real signal line connected to real memory cells driven by a real driver and at least one dummy signal line outside the real signal line connected to dummy memory cells, driven by a dummy driver. Real driver and dummy driver drive the real signal line and the dummy signal line synchronous with a common timing signal generated by an operation control circuit. Consequently, a stress evaluation is also performable, e.g., on a real signal line outside of a memory cell array under the same condition of a real signal line on the inner side. Dummy signal line is driven using common timing signal and evaluated, thus being usable as a redundancy signal line to relieve failure.

    摘要: To reduce or prevent adhesive particles from being scattered toward a light-emitting portion of an arc tube and an auxiliary reflecting surface of an auxiliary mirror even when an inorganic adhesive injected for fixing the auxiliary mirror to the arc tube is boiled, a method of manufacturing a light source lamp includes: setting a light-reflecting surface of the auxiliary mirror so as to face the light-emitting portion of the arc tube and injecting an adhesive into a gap between the auxiliary mirror and the arc tube; heating and curing the adhesive from a side nearer to the light-emitting portion of the arc tube; and attaching the reflector to the arc tube with the auxiliary mirror fixed thereto. For example, a heated air blowoff and light irradiation toward the adhesive form the side nearer to the light-emitting portion of the arc tube may be performed. Further, a projector includes: an illumination system with the light source lamp; an optical modulator; and a projector lens.
