Abstract: An inline-type strainer including a drain line and a screen configured to be attachable to and detachable from a housing is provided. A screen is supported to be attachable to and detachable from a lid. A lid coupling mechanism that couples a housing and the lid when the lid is attached to the housing is provided between a bottom surface of the housing facing the filter chamber and a lower end of the lid. A lower discharge flow path is formed in a lower coupling element on a side close to the housing constituting the lid coupling mechanism, and an upper discharge flow path is formed in the upper coupling element on a side close to the lid constituting the lid coupling mechanism. When the lid is attached to the housing, a coupling state is established between the upper and lower coupling elements, and the upper and lower discharge flow paths communicate with each other, and thus a drain line is constructed.

Abstract: A filter housing assembly for fluid filtration which may be attached to, and removed from, a filter base by a push-actuated release. The filter housing assembly has a top portion with an ingress port and egress port extending therefrom, and a protrusion extending from the filter housing longitudinally axial center. The ingress and egress port are formed in an hourglass shape. A filter key having a base with a groove for mating with said projection, at least one finger extending from said base, and an electronic circuit component housing attached thereto for receiving a printed circuit board, is connected to the filter housing top portion by mating said top portion protrusion with the filter key groove. Both of said ingress and egress port have at least one cavity for the passage of fluid therethrough, where each cavity is exposed in a direction facing away from the printed circuit board.

Abstract: A filter element has a filter bellows of filter medium laid into folds. The folds extend between oppositely positioned end edges of the filter bellows, respectively. The end edges form oppositely positioned end edge surfaces. The filter bellows is arranged in closed configuration about a longitudinal axis and encloses a hollow space. The filter bellows has opposed end faces sealed by an end disc. The filter bellows has a cut portion in at least one of the oppositely positioned end edge surfaces such that one or more regions of folds with shortened fold length are formed. A fold length of the folds with shortened fold length is substantially identical at an outer and inner circumference of the filter bellows. A filter system has a housing in which the filter element is arranged. One of the housing parts has a region corresponding to the cut portion of the filter bellows.

Abstract: A filter base for receiving a mating filter housing assembly having a base platform having fluid ingress and egress stanchions, and a wire harness assembly including a connector housing integral with or connected to the base platform for establishing an electrical connection between the filter base and the mating filter housing assembly. Abstract: A purification column is provided in which fluid is purified by flow through a purifying component. The column includes an annular wall defining a bore which, in use, contains the purifying component. The column further includes an inlet port to the bore comprising a first aperture through the annular wall, the inlet port being adjacent one end of the column. The column further includes an outlet port from the bore comprising a second aperture through the annular wall, the outlet port being adjacent the same end of the column as the inlet port. The column further includes a flow guidance device within the bore and removably connected to the inlet and outlet ports for guiding the fluid to the purifying component from the inlet port and for guiding the fluid from the purifying component to the outlet port. The flow guidance device maintains separation of the fluid flows to and from the purifying component.
