摘要: The torque transmission apparatus is simple, small and light and has a clutch unit to receive thrust and transmit torque between rotary members, a differential screw mechanism to convert rotational force into the thrust applied to the clutch unit, and an electric motor to produce the rotational force. The differential screw mechanism has a driving screw and driven screws. The driving screw is rotatably and axially movably supported on a rotary drive shaft of the electric motor. The driven screws mesh with the driving screw and are rotatably and axially immovably supported. The meshing driving screw and driven screws are rotated to axially move the driving screw and apply engaging force to the clutch unit.

摘要: An electromagnetic clutch is provided with: a clutch hub which is connected to a shaft member (one of a pair of rotation members); a clutch housing which is connected to a hollow shaft (the other of a pair of rotation members); a rotor which is connected to the clutch housing; a main clutch (clutch member) which is disposed between the clutch hub and the clutch housing; and an electromagnet which operates the main clutch. An end surface of the clutch housing and an end surface of a core of the electromagnet are disposed to be opposed to each other with the rotor interposed therebetween in an axial direction.The end of the rotor in a side of the clutch housing is formed with an extension portion which extends to the clutch housing in the axial direction. An outer periphery of the clutch housing is connected to the extension portion through a connection portion. The connection portion is disposed outside the main clutch in a radial direction.

摘要: A clutch device is combinable with a rotating device rotating about an axis. The clutch device is provided with a clutch rotatable with the rotating device, a plunger for disengageably engage the clutch, a solenoid for generating a magnetic flux for driving the plunger, a magnetic core slidably fitting on a portion of the rotating device and incompletely enclosing the solenoid to expose the solenoid to the portion, and a support member configured to support the magnetic core to fit with the rotating device in an axial direction along the axis. The magnetic core in combination with the portion of the rotating device and the plunger is so dimensioned as to enclose the solenoid.

摘要: A power transmission apparatus is capable of easily passing lubricant toward a seal arranged between a higher shat and an opening of a case of the apparatus. The apparatus includes the higher shaft, i.e., a hollow connecting shaft that faces the outside of the transfer case through the opening of the transfer case. The oil seal is arranged between the hollow shaft and the opening of the transfer case. The hollow shaft meshes, through helical spur gears, with an intermediate transferring shaft that is positioned lower than the hollow shaft. A lubricant guide is arranged to receive lubricant splashed up by the ring gear and helical spur gear of the intermediate shaft and guide the received lubricant toward the oil seal and a ball bearing.

摘要: A differential device for a vehicle includes a differential casing 15, pinion shafts 25, 27 connected to through-holes of the differential casing 15, pinion gears 3 supported by the pinion shafts 25, 27, a differential mechanism 9 having side gears 5, 7 meshing with the pinion gears 3, a limited-slip differential 11 for limiting a differential rotation of the differential mechanism 9 and an actuator 13 for controlling the limited-slip differential 11. A ring gear is fixed on a flange part 17 of the differential casing 15. The flange part 17 is positioned on one side of the differential casing 15 in an axial direction of the differential casing disproportionately. The actuator 13 is arranged so as to abut on the flange part 17. The differential casing 15 is divided into casing pieces by a parting part 19 on one side of the differential casing 15 in opposition to the flange part 17 in the axial direction. The casing pieces are connected with each other by connecting members 21.

The second casing 25 includes a first casing member 33 having a cylindrical part 29 and one end wall 31 and a second casing member 37 having another end wall 35 connected to the cylindrical part 29 integrally. The second casing 25 further includes a sealing member 39 arranged between the rotating member 19 and the end wall 31, another sealing member 41 arranged between the rotating member 19 and the other end wall 35 and an O ring arranged between the first casing 33 and the second casing 37, respectively. The second oil is enclosed in the second casing 25.

The breather chamber is defined by a first partition wall, a second partition wall, a third partition wall, an outer wall of a first division casing member and an outer wall of an second division casing. 摘要: A reduction drive device is compact, hardly causes an electric motor thereof to vibrate, and has improved noise/vibration controllability. The reduction drive device includes the electric motor attached to a casing and capable of outputting torque, first and second reduction mechanisms supported by the casing, to reduce and transmit the rotational output of the electric motor, and a rear differential supported by the casing, to distribute the rotational output reduced by the first and second reduction mechanisms to a pair of axle shafts. Rotor, stator, and brush of the electric motor partly overlap the rear differential when seen in a rotation radius direction.
