    Abstract: A vehicular interior electrochromic mirror reflective element includes a planar rear interior mirror-shaped glass substrate and a planar front interior mirror-shaped glass substrate. The front glass substrate is shape cut from a planar glass sheet. A perimeter seal establishes an interpane cavity between the rear glass substrate and the planar glass sheet at a respective planar front glass substrate portion of the planar glass sheet. An electrochromic medium is disposed in the interpane cavity. With the rear glass substrate joined with the respective planar front glass substrate portion of the planar glass sheet via the perimeter seal, the planar glass sheet is shape cut at the respective planar front glass substrate portion and the circumferential perimeter cut edges of glass substrates are processed to provide a circumferential rounded perimeter edge of the vehicular interior electrochromic mirror reflective element having a radius of curvature of at least 2.5 mm.

    Abstract: A vehicular window assembly includes a window panel attached at a mounting structure. The window panel has an electrically conductive trace established at a surface of the window panel. The electrically conductive trace includes a positive end electrically connected to a positive terminal at the window panel and a negative end electrically connected to a negative terminal at the window panel. The electrically conductive trace includes a plurality of spaced apart trace segments disposed across the surface of the window panel. The plurality of spaced apart trace segments are electrically connected in series between the positive terminal and the negative terminal. With the vehicular window assembly mounted at the vehicle, a power supply of the vehicle is electrically connected to the positive terminal and the negative terminal to provide electrical power to the electrically conductive trace. Voltage supplied by the power supply is greater than 15 volts.

    Abstract: A vehicular interior rearview mirror assembly includes a mirror head adjustable relative to a mounting base. The mirror head accommodates a mirror reflective element having a transflective mirror reflector and a video display device disposed behind the mirror reflective element and operable to display video images derived from image data captured by a camera of the vehicle. The displayed video images are viewable through the transflective mirror reflector by a driver of the vehicle. Responsive to determination of a glare light source present in a field of view of the camera, intensity of a portion of the displayed video images that corresponds to the glare light source is reduced relative to adjacent portions of the displayed video images.

    Abstract: A method for forming a vehicular slider window assembly includes providing a fixed window panel defining an open and attaching upper and lower rails at the fixed window panel. The method includes providing a filler including a filler body and a deformable element along each opposing side wall of the filler body. The method includes forming at least one end of opposite ends of the filler body at an oblique angle relative to a longitudinal axis of the filler body. The filler is disposed in a channel of the upper rail. A movable window panel is provided at the upper and lower rails with an upper region of the movable window panel received in the filler. Each of the deformable elements includes a compressible and flexible material and provides a dampening and cushioning function at the movable window panel received in the filler in the channel of the upper rail.

    Abstract: A vehicular rear liftgate window assembly includes a glass window panel configured to be pivotable between a closed position and an opened position. A heater grid is disposed at an interior side of the glass window panel, the heater grid including a plurality of electrically conductive traces. A pair of busbars are established at the interior side of the glass window panel at opposite side regions of the electrically conductive traces of the heater grid. An aperture is established through the glass window panel at or near an upper region of each busbar, and electrical connectors are electrically connected at the upper regions of the busbars. The electrical connectors are configured to route a respective electrical wire from an exterior side of the glass window panel and through the respective aperture for electrical connection to the respective busbar at the interior side of the glass window panel.
