Abstract:
The present application generally relates to support articles and methods of making and using them. Some embodiments of the support articles of the present disclosure provide compression and/or stabilization to sore joints, tendons, or muscles. In some embodiments, the compression and/or enhanced stabilization is provided, at least in part, by one or more reinforcing portions. In some embodiments, the support articles can easily be applied by a non-trained user and can be worn in many conditions (including, for example, in the shower or during exercise) for up to three days. In some embodiments, the support articles or support articles also have a relatively slim profile and are thus discreet such that they can be worn under clothing without being noticeable. In some embodiments, the support articles eliminate or reduce joint or muscle pain or soreness.
Abstract:
Foam compositions are provided including a polylactic acid polymer; second (e.g., polyvinyl acetate) polymer having a glass transition temperature (Tg) of at least 25° C.; and plasticizer. Also described are articles comprising the foam compositions, such as a sheet or hearing protection article. Methods of making and using the foam compositions are further described herein.

Abstract:
The present invention relates to printed hook components for hook and loop mechanical fasteners, and other components such as on diaper chassis and other personal hygiene articles, and methods for making the same. The hook component comprises an organic polymer, a laser-sensitive agent, and a laser-induced print on the hook component created by the interaction of electromagnetic radiation with the laser-sensitive agent. The hook component can be used in a variety of applications, including mechanical fastening devices for personal hygiene articles such as diapers, adult incontinence pads, and medical gowns.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a printable media containing a self adhering printable compositions for digital printing and prepared by coating of the self adhering printable composition on an untreated nonwoven substrate. The printable medium of the present invention has excellent ink receptivity (printability) on a variety of ink-jet and other printing platforms and is ideally suited to be used as signage banners, commercial hoardings etc.
