Abstract: Embodiments of the present application provide a battery, a power consumption device, a method and a device for producing the battery. The battery includes: a battery cell, including a pressure relief mechanism, wherein the pressure relief mechanism is disposed on a first wall of the battery cell; a thermal management component, wherein a first surface of the thermal management component is attached to the first wall, and the thermal management component is provided with a pressure relief hole opposite to the pressure relief mechanism; and a baffle configured to cover a part of the pressure relief hole, so that when the pressure relief mechanism is actuated, a discharge direction of the emissions entering the pressure relief hole is changed. The battery, the power consumption device, the method and the device for producing the battery provided in the embodiments of the present application can enhance safety of batteries.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present application provide a battery. The battery includes: a battery cell comprising a pressure relief mechanism, the pressure relief mechanism being arranged in a first wall of the battery cell and the pressure relief mechanism being configured, when an internal pressure or temperature of the battery cell reaches a threshold, to be actuated to release the internal pressure; and a thermal management component for containing a fluid to adjust the temperature of the battery cell; wherein a first surface of the thermal management component is attached to the first wall, and the thermal management component is configured to be capable of being damaged when the pressure relief mechanism is actuated, so that the fluid is discharged from inside of the thermal management component. According to the technical solutions of the embodiments of the present application, the safety of the battery can be enhanced.

The battery includes: a plurality of battery cells, the battery cell comprising a housing, the housing being configured to be actuated when an internal pressure or temperature of the housing reaches a threshold, to relieve the internal pressure of the housing; a plurality of first boxes, the first box being configured to accommodate at least one battery cell of the plurality of battery cells, the first box including a pressure relief region, and the pressure relief region being configured to relieve an internal pressure of the first box; and a second box, the second box being configured to accommodate the plurality of first boxes. According to the technical solutions of the embodiments of the present application, the safety of the battery can be enhanced.

The box of the battery includes: an electrical chamber, configured to accommodate a battery cell group; a collection chamber, configured to collect emissions of the battery cell provided with the pressure relief mechanism when the pressure relief mechanism is actuated; an isolation component for isolating the electrical chamber and the collection chamber, such that the electrical chamber and the collection chamber are arranged on both sides of the isolation component; wherein a surface of the isolation component that is close to the battery cell group is provided with an avoidance opening, the avoidance opening extends along the first direction, and the plurality of pressure relief mechanisms of the battery cell group face the avoidance opening.

Abstract: The embodiments of the present application provide a method, apparatus and system for thermal runaway processing and a storage medium. The method first obtains a battery parameter for each of a plurality of battery modules in a power battery pack, then determines that a thermal runaway is occurred in a first battery module based on the battery parameter for each of the plurality of battery modules; and then obtains a second battery module based on the first battery module, wherein the second battery module corresponds to at least one battery module excluding the first battery module in the power battery pack; and finally supplies power to a chiller system with the second battery module.

The method includes: acquiring at least one parameter of a cooling medium of a battery, the battery including a heat conducting apparatus, and the cooling medium being contained in the heat conducting apparatus; and determining, when the at least one parameter satisfies a preset condition, that thermal runaway occurs in the battery.

Abstract: A battery and an electrical device are provided. The battery comprises: a battery cell, a first wall of the battery cell being provided with a first pressure relief mechanism; a thermal management component for regulating the temperature of the battery cell, wherein the thermal management component is attached to a second wall of the battery cell, the second wall being different from the first wall and the area of the second wall being greater than or equal to that of the first wall; and a discharge pathway configured to be capable of getting in communication with the interior of the battery cell via the first pressure relief mechanism when the first pressure relief mechanism is actuated, so that emissions of the battery cell are discharged to the discharge pathway. The battery and the electrical device of embodiments of the present application can improve the safety of the battery.

The housing is provided with an accommodating space for accommodating the electrode assembly, and includes a first side plate on a side in a first direction; the pressure relief mechanism is arranged on the first side plate; and the cap assembly is configured to seal the housing; wherein an inner surface of the first side plate of the housing is provided with a first passageway extending along the inner surface, and the first passageway is configured to direct a gas in the accommodating space to the pressure relief mechanism, such that the pressure relief mechanism is actuated and relieves a pressure when the pressure reaches a threshold.
