Abstract: An energy storage system includes a housing in which a plurality of storage cells are arranged. Abstract: A flange seal has a support body of a tough, hard material, and a sealing element of a rubbery-elastic material, that are interconnected in a single piece, the sealing element having a sealing edge that can be exposed to a medium to be sealed in a chamber to be sealed.
