    摘要: A method of controlling a rotational speed of a fan motor for a heat generating electronic component includes the following steps: (1) obtaining an original PWM pulse in response to an internal die temperature of the electronic component, the original PWM pulse having a first duty cycle which corresponds to a first rotational speed for the fan motor; (2) obtaining an ambient temperature surrounding the electronic component; (3) generating a new PWM pulse based on the original PWM pulse and the ambient temperature, the new PWM pulse having a second duty cycle which corresponds to a second rotational speed for the fan motor; and (4) controlling the fan motor to operate at the second rotational speed. In this method, both the internal die temperature of the electronic component and the ambient temperature surrounding the electronic component are taken into consideration in determining the rotational speed of the fan motor.

    摘要: An LED unit includes an LED having an optical axis and a lens mounted on the LED. The lens includes an incidence surface, an emission surface, and a light-reflecting face between the incidence surface and the emission surface. The light-reflecting face has a diameter gradually increasing from a bottom towards a top of the lens. The incidence surface includes a first incidence surface and a second incidence surface extending downwardly from a circumference of the first incidence surface and protruding inwardly towards the LED. Light emitted from the LED with a large angle is refracted by the second incidence surface into substantially parallel beams in one side of a cross-section of the lens through the optical axis of the LED, and the parallel beams are sequentially reflected by the light-reflecting face and refracted by the emission surface out of the lens in substantially parallel beams.

    摘要: A control circuit for controlling current through LEDs of an LED lamp includes a voltage regulator, a feedback circuit with an amplifier and a photo-resistor. The voltage regulator includes an output terminal connecting with the LEDs and a feedback terminal. The amplifier includes an in-phase input end coupling with an output end of the LEDs, an out-phase input end and an output end connected to the feedback terminal of the voltage regulator. The photo-resistor is connected between the out-phase input end of the amplifier and the ground. The photo-resistor has a resistance increasing along with a decrease of the light intensity of the LEDs. The increase of resistance of the photo-resistor is fed back to the voltage regulator via the amplifier, to thereby increase the electric current through the LEDs to maintain the light intensity of the LED lamp within an acceptable range.

    摘要: A lamp assembly includes a storage tank, a lamp, a liquid inlet pipe, a liquid outlet pipe and an actuator. The storage tank contains liquid therein. The lamp includes a lighting portion and a lid located at a top of the lighting portion. A flume is defined between a top end of the lighting portion and the lid. The liquid inlet pipe connects a first end of the storage tank and a corresponding end of the flume. The liquid outlet pipe connects an opposite second end of the storage tank and a corresponding end of the flume of the lamp. The actuator drives the liquid to circulate between the storage tank and the flume of the lamp to thereby dissipate heat generated by the lamp.

    摘要: An electric fan includes a fan base (10), a bearing (40) and a rotor assembly (20). The fan base forms a central tube (11) receiving the bearing therein. The rotor assembly includes a fan hub (22), and a pivot axle (23) joined to the fan hub. The pivot axle pivotably extends into the bearing. The bearing has an outer wall (41) with a plurality of bulwarks (45) circumferentially formed thereon. At least one partition hole (424, 43a) corresponding to the bulwarks is defined in the bearing. The at least one partition hole effectively prevents a radially inward pressure exerted by the central tube on the bearing from being exerted to the pivot axle via the bearing. Therefore, a friction between the bearing and the pivot axle is reduced.
