Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a battery module and a battery pack. The battery module includes a plurality of battery units connected in series; at least two electrode output connecting pieces each disposed at an output end of the plurality of battery units; a plurality of bridging busbars, each connecting two battery units spaced by one or more other battery units among the plurality of battery units; and an adjacent busbar connecting two adjacent battery units among the plurality of battery units. An electrical connection path is formed in the battery module by the electrode output connecting pieces, the bridging busbars and the adjacent busbar. The battery module according to the present disclosure is applicable in diverse situations, and capable of improving safety performance and energy density.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a lower box body, a battery box and a vehicle, the lower box body comprises a base body, a first protecting assembly, a mounting hole. The base body comprises a bottom plate portion, a side plate portion, eave portions. The first protecting assembly is provided at outside of the base body, fixed to the base body and is attached to the eave portion. The mounting hole penetrates the eave portion and the first protecting assembly. The first protecting assembly improves the entirety structural strength of the lower box. Because the mounting hole is formed by penetrating the eave portion and the first protecting assembly, the structural stability of the mounting location of the lower box body is improved, thereby making the mounting location of the lower box body not be prone to be deformed or damaged when the battery box is subjected to the external force.

Abstract: Disclosed are a load state detection circuit and method. A microcontroller is connected to a switch unit which is connected between a detecting power supply and a load to be tested. A voltage sampling point is formed at either terminal of the load to be tested, and the voltage sampling circuit is connected between the voltage sampling point and the microcontroller. The voltage sampling circuit is configured to sample a voltage at the voltage sampling point. The microcontroller is configured to connect the load to be tested and the detecting power supply by controlling the switch unit, and determine whether a fault exists in the load to be tested according to a received voltage at the voltage sampling point sampled by the voltage sampling circuit, before connecting the load to be tested with the drive power supply.

Abstract: A sodium metal battery and an electrochemical apparatus, the battery has a positive electrode sheet and a negative electrode sheet, the negative electrode sheet being a negative electrode current collector, and a sodium layer deposited in situ on the negative electrode current collector having a thickness of ≥30 nm after the battery is charged and discharged for the first time. After the battery cell is charged and discharged for the first time, the amount of residual sodium metal is sufficient to uniformly form a sodium deposition layer with a certain thickness on the surface of the negative electrode current collector. The higher nucleation energy required for the deposition of sodium onto the surface of the current collector during subsequent charge-discharge cycles is avoided, the overall deposition overpotential is reduced, and the deposition uniformity of sodium metal and the reversibility of the charge-discharge process are ensured.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present application provide a battery. The battery includes: a battery cell comprising a pressure relief mechanism, the pressure relief mechanism being arranged in a first wall of the battery cell and the pressure relief mechanism being configured, when an internal pressure or temperature of the battery cell reaches a threshold, to be actuated to release the internal pressure; and a thermal management component for containing a fluid to adjust the temperature of the battery cell; wherein a first surface of the thermal management component is attached to the first wall, and the thermal management component is configured to be capable of being damaged when the pressure relief mechanism is actuated, so that the fluid is discharged from inside of the thermal management component. According to the technical solutions of the embodiments of the present application, the safety of the battery can be enhanced.
