    摘要: A die for a thermal drop-on-demand fluid-ejection device includes thermal firing resistors, low-side switches, and high-side switches. The thermal firing resistors are organized over resistor groups such that each thermal firing resistor is located within only one of the resistor groups. The resistor groups are lesser in number than the thermal firing resistors. Each thermal firing resistor has a first end and a second end. The low-side switches are equal in number to the thermal firing resistors. Each low-side switch connects the second end of a corresponding thermal firing resistor to a low voltage. The high-side switches are equal in number to the resistor groups. Each high-side switch connects the first ends of the thermal firing resistors of a corresponding resistor group to power providing a voltage greater than the low voltage.

    摘要: The present invention relates to fibre optics and more particularly to flexible, durable, fibre optic splices, and methods of installing such splices. One embodiment of the invention comprises a fibre optic splice comprising: a flexible central tensile member; a flexible helical wrapping positioned about the flexible central tensile member; and an outer protective jacket positioned about the flexible helical wrapping. The flexible central tensile member and the flexible helical wrapping define a splice enclosure to accommodate optical fibres of the splice, at least a portion of the optical fibres being arranged in a generally helical orientation within the splice enclosure.

    摘要: A return label and tracking system is disclosed. The label of the present invention is a multi-layer label having a backing, a middle layer shipping label, and a top layer. The backing is pealed away to expose a permanent adhesive to affix the label to a box. The top layer is removably adhered to the shipping label. When a customer is ready to ship back an item, such as a depleted toner cartridge, for recycling or repair, the top layer can be removed to expose the shipping label, and the box can be shipped via a courier service or mail service. The shipping label is a variable label. The tracking system enables the receiver to determine which customer sent the item by having a record of which shipping labels were assigned to which customers. Thus, the customer can be credited for items returned.
