摘要: Organic polymers for use in electronic devices, wherein the polymer includes repeat units of the formula: wherein: each R1 is independently H, an aryl group, Cl, Br, I, or an organic group that includes a crosslinkable group; each R2 is independently H, an aryl group or R4; each R3 is independently H or methyl; each R5 is independently an alkyl group, a halogen, or R4; each R4 is independently an organic group that includes at least one CN group and has a molecular weight of about 30 to about 200 per CN group; and n=0-3; with the proviso that at least one repeat unit in the polymer includes an R4. These polymers are useful in electronic devices such as organic thin film transistors.

In another aspect, the present invention is directed to a coated article. The coated article has a photocatalytic coating with improved durability on its external surface that is formed from the aforesaid coating composition.

摘要: Herein are disclosed methods by which a layer of oriented chromonic material may be transferred from a flexible substrate to a receiving substrate, so as to form a subassembly for use in the assembly of liquid crystal cells. The oriented chromonic material layer may function as an alignment layer for aligning liquid crystal material, and may also incorporate a pleochroic dye so to function as a polarizing layer. An oriented chromonic material layer of relatively large area can be transferred, which enables the production of relatively large liquid crystal cells for use in, e.g., autodarkening filters such as used for eye protection in welding operations. Curved liquid crystal cells are also disclosed.

The materials comprise N-substituted amino carbocyclic aromatic compounds of the formula R1R2N—Ar(G)n where Ar is an aryl group, the group R1 is hydrogen, alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, aryl, heteroalkyl or substituted alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, the group R2 is alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, aryl, heteroalkyl or substituted alkyl, and each G is independently hydrogen, alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, aryl, heteroalkyl, substituted alkyl, or —NR3R4 where each R3 is independently hydrogen, alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, aryl, heteroalkyl or substituted alkyl, and each R4 is independently alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, aryl, heteroalkyl or substituted alkyl, and Ar is a phenyl group when n is 5, a naphthalene group when n is 7, and an anthracene group when n is 9.

According to an embodiment of the invention, there is provided an array substrate which comprises: a terminal region; and an active pixel region, the active pixel region comprising: a plurality of pixel units; a plurality of gate lines; a plurality of data lines; and a plurality of gate leading wires, wherein two columns of the plurality of pixel units are provided between two adjacent data lines among the plurality of data lines, each of the plurality of gate leading wires is disposed between the two columns of the plurality of pixel units, and each of the plurality of gate lines is connected to respective one of the plurality of gate leading wires.
