    摘要: Peak current in a switching converter is controlled using a closed loop to compensate for error caused by delay time in the switching transistor and control logic. A reference value is established that represents a target current value. A compensated reference value is derived from the reference value by the closed loop. A periodic inductor current is formed in the switching converter in response to the compensated reference value. An error signal is formed that is indicative of an amount of time the inductor current exceeds the target current value. The compensated reference value is dynamically adjusted by the compensation closed loop to minimize the error signal.

    摘要: A switching power supply circuit is provided for capacitor charging, wherein a power device is coupled to a terminal node of a capacitor to be charged and has a control terminal coupled to the output of an associated drive circuit. This circuit includes a second power element being associated with the first power device, coupled to said terminal node, and provided with a control terminal which is connected directly to the output of respective drive logic. The second power element is driven to turn on when a voltage below a predetermined minimum is present at the capacitor, thereby pulling the voltage at the terminal node to ground and further charging the capacitor.

    摘要: The protection circuit includes a reference voltage source and at least one circuit which are connected together via a switch. A memory element is connected to the input of the circuit, downstream of the switch. The switch is temporarily opened by a control signal generated by a monostable circuit when detecting switching of power elements belonging to an electronic device embedding the protection circuit. When the switch is open, the memory element supplies the circuit with the reference voltage previously stored. In this way, switching of the power element that might cause noise on the reference voltage cannot disturb the circuit and thereby cannot cause a faulty operation of the latter.

    摘要: An electronic device smoothes a charge current peak in RLC output stages of switching step-up regulators, which stages include an input terminal and an output terminal with an inductance and a parasitic resistance in series therebetween, the latter corresponding to the series parasitic resistance of the inductance, and a capacitor connected between the output terminal and a ground. The device comprises a parallel of a resistor and a controlled switch connected between the inductance and the output terminal of the stage upstream of the capacitor. Advantageously, the switch would only be open during the charge transient of the capacitor.

    摘要: The method of a protection circuit includes a reference voltage source and at least one circuit which are connected together via a switch. A memory element is connected to the input of the circuit, downstream of the switch.
