Abstract: An encoding method and an electronic device for point cloud compression are provided. A two-dimensional image and an occupancy map of a point cloud are obtained. An occupancy status of point cloud data of each pixel sample in the two-dimensional image is determined according to the occupancy map. A weight parameter of each pixel sample in an encoding block of the two-dimensional image is determined according to the occupancy statuses of point cloud data of multiple pixel samples. Multiple rate-distortion costs respectively corresponding to multiple encoding operation options are calculated according to the weight parameter of each pixel sample in the encoding block. One of the encoding operation options is determined to be used to perform an encoding operation on the encoding block according to a minimum rate-distortion cost among the rate-distortion costs.

Abstract: A stretchable sensing device includes at least one first unit structure, at least one second unit structure and a stretchable material layer. The first unit structure includes a first substrate and a first sensing element layer, wherein the first substrate includes multiple first slits and multiple first distribution regions defined by the first slits. The first sensing element layer includes multiple first sensing electrodes being electrically isolated to each other and located on the first substrate. The second unit structure is located on the first unit structure and includes a second substrate and a second sensing element layer located on the second substrate. The stretchable material layer is located between the first unit structure and the second unit structure, and provides a changeable spacing between at least two of the first sensing electrodes located on adjacent first distribution regions. A sensing method of the stretchable sensing device is also provided.

Abstract: A detective method for detecting a condition of a biochemical sample is provided. A first reference value and a second reference value are obtained. A biochemical sample may be irradiated with a first wavelength light, and the first wavelength light that has passed through the biochemical sample is received by a light sensor, so that a first measured value is obtained. Abstract: A foldable display and an image processing method thereof are disclosed. The foldable display comprises a display module, a memory, a sensor module, and a processing unit. The sensor module senses a bending state of the display module. The processing unit generates adjusted images according to an image signal, and stores those adjusted images to a plurality of memory addresses of the memory. The processing unit selects a reading address from those memory addresses according the bending state.
