    摘要: An oil-free turbo vacuum pump is capable of evacuating gas in a chamber from atmospheric pressure to high vacuum. The turbo vacuum pump includes a pumping section having rotor blades and stator blades which are disposed alternately in a casing, and a main shaft for supporting the rotor blades. A gas bearing is used as a bearing for supporting the main shaft in a thrust direction, spiral grooves are formed in both surfaces of a stationary part of the gas bearing, and the stationary part having the spiral grooves is placed between an upper rotating part and a lower rotating part which are fixed to the main shaft. A thrust magnetic bearing for canceling out a thrust force generated by the differential pressure between a discharge side and an intake side by an evacuation action of the pumping suction is provided.

Three digit symmetric binary numbers (HEN2), are a combination of signals in which at least one of two adjacent digits, at any digit position of one or more digits of 2-based three digit redundant binary numbers with one signal of three digits {n, o, p} expressing a value {−1, 0, 1} as a one-digit signal, is a signal “o” expressing zero. Thus three digits {−1, 0, 1} are used instead of the two digit {0, 1} binary system used in conventional A/D or D/A converters.

    摘要: Extendable bit teeth are supported by the guide grooves formed on the end face at the point of a bit body in such a manner as to be slidable. The extendable bit teeth slide along the guide grooves in an excavating direction to thereby project from the end face at the point of the bit body. The extendable bit teeth slide in an opposite direction to the excavating direction to project from the outer periphery of the point of the bit body. Since the extendable bit teeth are pressed against the ground during excavation, the extendable bit teeth projects from the outer periphery of the point of the bit body so that the bit gauge can be extended, and most of the excavation hole is excavated by the bit body.

    摘要: An air-pressure impact type drilling method and an apparatus for the same in which a piston of an air hammer drill is moved up and down by pressure air to produce impact energy and the impact energy of the piston is used to give impact vibrations repetitively to a drill bit. In the air-pressure impact type drilling method and the apparatus for the same, the air hammer drill is operated by the pressure air to be supplied from the ground, the air that has already been used for operation of the air hammer drill is exhausted onto the ground through an air exhaust pipe provided in a drilling pipe and communicating with an air exhaust passage formed in the air hammer drill, and substances cut out by the air hammer drill together with muddy water within the trench are discharged by means of a reverse circulation system while drilling on through the earth. As a result of this, even if the water head pressure acts on the tip end of the drill bit, the pressure of the air for operation of the piston will not be affected by such water head pressure and thus the drilling performance of the air hammer drill will not be ill affected even under the muddy water.
