    摘要: A gear-shift control system of an automatic transmission, in which gear shift schedule is appropriately changed-over in correspondence with the change of a road surface situation. Low-friction road surface detection device detects a low-friction road surface so as to select the gear shift schedule for the low-friction road surface adopted to start the motor vehicle with second gear. After the selection, a holding device holds the gear shift schedule for the low-friction road surface until an accelerator is pressed next.

    摘要: A control apparatus for a vehicle for a continuously variable transmission (CVT) whose speed ratio is continuously variable, the apparatus including a mode selector responsive to a currently required output of an engine, for selecing one of a continuously variable speed mode in which the speed ratio of the CVT is continuously changed, and a stepping shift mode in which the speed ratio is changed in a plurality of steps. The apparatus further includes a first control device operable in the continuously variable speed mode, for continuously changing the speed ratio of the continuously variable transmission so as to operate the engine with minimum fuel consumption, and a second control device operable in the stepping shift mode, for selecting one of a plurality of speed-ratio positions corresponding to the above-indicated plurality of steps, and for maintaining the selected speed-ratio position, based on the detected currently required output of the engine and the detected running speed of the vehicle.

The slip detecting device is provided with a device for detecting a rotational speed of the specific part in a driving system, whereby occurrence of a driving wheel slip is detected based on the speed variation state in the rotational speed such as the gradient of variation in the output shaft rotational speed when shifting.     摘要: This invention relates to a continuously variable transmission which increases the range of potential transmission ratios and thereby decreases the fuel consumption rate, and which is compact in size and thereby increases space in a passenger compartment. The continuously variable transmission has low and high gear trains and a reverse gear train. Each of the low and high gear trains has a pair of meshed gears and a one-way clutch which controls the direction of transmitting the generated torque. The high gear train further has a clutch which engages at a medium or high vehicle speed and disengages at a low vehicle speed. A jaw clutch is slidably mounted on an output shaft and is located in either a first position or a second position. The jaw clutch forms the low gear train when the jaw clutch is in the first position, and the reverse gear train when the jaw clutch is located on the second position.

    摘要: A control apparatus for a power train including a continuously variable transmission and a clutch arranged in series with the continuously variable transmission is provided in which an engaging pressure of the clutch is first reduced until a slip occurs, and is then increased after detection of the slip so as to re-engage the clutch, and an engaging pressure of the clutch to be established is calculated by giving an excess pressure to the engaging pressure at which the clutch is re-engaged, such that an excess amount of the transmitted torque of the clutch is set smaller than that of the continuously variable transmission. The control apparatus is adapted to determine a learned value as a correction value of the engaging pressure that is set in advance in accordance with an input torque applied to the clutch, based on the engaging pressure calculated by giving the excess pressure to the engaging pressure at which the clutch is re-engaged.
