    摘要: A hydraulic control system for a vehicular drive system including a hydraulically operated belt-and-pulley type continuously variable transmission and a hydraulically operated frictional coupling device engaged for running of a vehicle, the hydraulic control system including: a first solenoid valve for regulating a belt-tensioning hydraulic pressure for tensioning a belt of the transmission, a second solenoid valve for regulating a transient coupling hydraulic pressure to be applied to the frictional coupling device in the process of an engaging action, a line-pressure regulating valve for regulating a line pressure used for hydraulically operated devices of the mechanism, and a hydraulic-circuit switching device operable to apply a control pressure of the second solenoid-operated valve to the line-pressure regulating valve after the frictional coupling device has been placed in a fully engaged state, and to apply a first control pressure of the first solenoid-operated valve to the line-pressure regulating valve while the frictional coupling device is in the process of the engaging action.

The driving condition detection unit detects driving conditions of a vehicle. The transmission control unit performs variable line pressure control using a minimum line pressure and a line-pressure-decreasing gradient calculated based on driving condition data detected by the driving condition detection unit when the driving conditions satisfy variable line pressure control entrance conditions. The driving unit adjusts a duty ratio of line pressure applied to friction elements according to a line pressure control signal generated by the transmission control unit.

    摘要: A hydraulic control system for an automatic transmission of automotive vehicles is provided. The hydraulic control system includes a pressure source, a plurality of solenoid valves, and a plurality of directional control valves. Each solenoid valve selectively supplies and release hydraulic pressure to and from one of frictional element of a power train of the automatic transmission according to a given schedule of transmission operation for establishing a given gear ratio. The directional control valves are interposed between the frictional elements of the power train and the solenoid valves, respectively. Each of the directional control valves is responsive to input of the hydraulic pressure supplied from the pressure source through a preselected hydraulic line to assume first and second valve positions, the first valve position being to allow the hydraulic pressure to be directed to one of the frictional elements, the second valve position being to release the hydraulic pressure acting on one of the frictional element. Additionally, the hydraulic pressure to activate the frictional elements is reduced in pressure level temporarily upon supply thereto for absorbing mechanical shock caused by engagement of the frictional elements.

    摘要: A control system for controlling both: an engine having a plurality of cylinders, a plurality of intake ports formed individually for the cylinders, a plurality of intake valves for opening or closing the intake ports individually for the cylinders, and a control valve for opening or closing one of the intake ports of each of the cylinders; and an automatic transmission connected to the engine. The control system comprises: a valve controller for opening the control valve, when an engine load is high, and for closing the control valve when the engine load is low: an air/fuel ratio controller for making an air/fuel ratio when the control valve is closed higher than that when the control valve is open; and a shift inhibitor for inhibiting the shift in the automatic transmission till a predetermined time period elapses after the switching of the control valve.

    摘要: A shift control system for the vehicle contains a torqueconverter, a multiple stage gear mechanism adapted for a shift of an operating state of a friction coupling means of a hydraulic pressure type which is coupled to the torque converter, a temperature sensor for sensing temperatures of the operating oil for the torque converter and the friction coupling element, and a control unit for shift control. The control unit controls operation of the friction coupling elements on the basis of a predetermined shift characteristic and shifts the shift characteristic, when the temperature of the operating oil to be sensed by the temperature sensor is lower than a given value, is in such a manner that the area of driving at least for first speed stage is narrowed.
