摘要: Disclosed is a method for adjusting the inductance of an inductor at least including a bobbin, a first magnetic member having a concavity on a side wall thereof, and a second magnetic member having a protrusion at a first end thereof for preventing the second magnetic member from being completely inserted into the bobbin so as to form a gap between the first and second magnetic members. The method includes the steps of selecting a reference piece with a suitable thickness to be disposed between the protrusion of the second magnetic member and the side wall of the first magnetic member with the concavity and closely attached to both of them t as said second magnetic member is inserted into said bobbin, and partially removing the second magnetic member from a second end thereof according to the thickness of the reference piece so as to obtain a predetermined inductance value. This method further includes a step of determining whether the inductance of the inductor is identical to the predetermined inductance value after the reference piece is disposed between the protrusion of the second magnetic member and the side wall of the first magnetic member with the concavity and the second magnetic member is partially inserted into the bobbin. If the inductance of the inductor is not identical to the predetermined inductance value the thickness of the reference piece can be changed to repeat the above-described steps until the predetermined inductance value is obtained.

摘要: An inverter transformer and a core structure thereof are described. The core structure of the inverter transformer has a first core and a second core. The first core has a plurality of fork elements, a connection element, and a bottom element. The fork elements are parallel with each other and connect with the connection element. The connection element further connects with the bottom element, and therefore the bottom element and the fork elements are configured at respective sides of the connection element. The second core has a plurality of fork position openings and a bottom opening. The fork position openings correspond one-to-one with the fork elements and the bottom opening corresponds to the bottom element. The second core further includes a bottom indentation and a plurality of fork position indentations to form gaps and lock a primary coil module and secondary coil modules.

摘要: A semiconductor method of manufacturing involving low-k dielectrics is provided. The method includes depositing a hydrocarbon of the general composition CxHy on the surface of a low-k dielectric. The hydrocarbon layer is deposited by reacting a precursor material, preferably C2H4 or (CH3)2CHC6H6CH3, using a PECVD process. In accordance with embodiments of this invention, carbon diffuses into the low-k dielectric, thereby reducing low-k dielectric damage caused by plasma processing or etching. Other embodiments comprise a semiconductor device having a low-k dielectric, wherein the low-k dielectric has carbon-adjusted dielectric region adjacent a trench sidewall and a bulk dielectric region. In preferred embodiments, the carbon-adjusted dielectric region has a carbon concentration not more than about 5% less than in the bulk dielectric region.

摘要: An electromagnetic revolutionary piston pump is disclosed. The electromagnetic revolutionary piston pump includes an inner tube, an outer tube, two annular separation plates, a plurality of pistons, and an electromagnetic coil. The inner tube has a plurality of first and second through holes, and it accommodates the abovementioned pistons to revolve inside. The outer tube has an intake opening and an exhaust opening, and it wraps the inner tube inside. In addition, the annular separation plates are disposed inside the outer tube for dividing the inner space of the outer tube into a first airproof space and a second airproof space. The first airproof space connects the intake opening and communicates the inner space of the first tube via the first through holes; the second airproof space connects the exhaust opening and communicates the inner space of the first tube via the second through holes. Moreover, the electromagnetic coil is mounted on the wall outside of the inner tube in the first airproof space for exerting magnetic force onto the pistons.

摘要: A dual-ported tag array of a cache allows simultaneous access of the tag array by miss data of older LOAD instructions being returned during the same cycle that a new LOAD instruction is accessing the tag array to check for a cache hit. Because a load buffer queues LOAD instructions, the cache tags for older LOAD instructions which missed the cache return later when new LOAD instructions are accessing a tag array to check for cache hits. A method and apparatus for calculating and maintaining a hit bit in a load buffer perform the determination of whether or not a newly dispatched LOAD will hit the cache after it has been queued into the load buffer and waited for all older LOADs to be processed. A load buffer data entry includes the hit bit and all information necessary to process the LOAD instruction and calculate the hit bits for future LOAD instructions which must be buffered. A method and apparatus for servicing LOAD instructions, in which the access of the data array portion of a cache and the tag array portion are decoupled, allows the delayed access of the data array after a LOAD has been delayed in the load buffer without reaccessing the tag array. A method and apparatus allow access to the first level cache and second level cache to occur simultaneously for two separate LOADs in the load buffer.
