    摘要: A semiconductor package is described which is constructed from a rectangular tape film, a wiring pattern formed on the tape film constituted by wiring composed of a conductive material, a semiconductor chip electrically connected to one end of the wiring pattern, and holes formed on the other end of the wiring pattern for connection by insertion of lead-pins. A method is then described for stacking and mounting a plurality of semiconductor packages on a wiring substrate by first vertically positioning lead-pins on a wiring substrate and then passing these lead-pins through the holes in the semiconductor packages.

Black masks (89b) are arranged between the transparent electrodes (85b). Portions of the black masks (89b) extend over the transparent electrodes (85b). Black masks (89a) are arranged between the transparent electrodes (85a), with portions of the black masks (89a) extending over the transparent electrodes (85a). Since black masks (89a, 89b) are provided between the transparent electrodes (85a, 85b), respectively, state of display can be made uniform in non-pixel portions. Since the black masks (89a, 89b) on the transparent electrodes (85a, 85b) prevents undesired inversion of spontaneous polarization of the liquid crystal molecules in the pixel portions, the state of display of the pixel portions can be made stable.

One of the at least one volume excluding member is provided on the at least one electrode on at least one of the pair of substrates, the volume excluding member being provided so as to be on at least a portion of one side edge of the at least one electrode. A side of each of the pair of substrates facing the liquid crystal layer is subjected to a vertical alignment treatment. The liquid crystal molecules are tilted in a uniform direction from the at least one side edge of the at least one electrode to an opposite edge when a voltage is applied to the at least one electrode.

    摘要: A voltage controlled oscillator includes an amplifier having a positive feedback construction, configured to output an oscillation signal of a frequency corresponding to a control voltage supplied to a variable capacitor of a tank circuit having an inductor and the variable capacitor, and a variable current source configured to change an operation current supplied to the amplifier according to the control voltage. When a certain oscillation frequency at which phase noise becomes minimum is set as a reference point, the variable current source increases the operation current supplied to the amplifier as the oscillation frequency becomes lower than the certain oscillation frequency, or decreases the operation current supplied to the amplifier as the oscillation frequency becomes higher than the certain oscillation frequency. With this construction, a voltage controlled oscillator having a stable and sufficiently suppressed phase noise characteristic can be realized irrespective of the oscillation frequency.
