摘要: A linear drive mechanism includes a cylindrical hollow housing within which a movable body is mounted for guided collinear movement by drive mechanism including a cable drum that is driven by a drive device having an output shaft, characterized by the provision of a slip clutch between the drive output shaft and the cable drum in order to avoid damage to the drive of the body in the event of a collision between the body and the workpiece in the direction of travel of the body. The drive mechanism may be used for the low-wear and play-free driving of, for example, the connecting head of a laser machining system for material processing.

摘要: The invention relates to a system for generating high fuel pressure for a fuel injection system used in internal combustion engines in which via a low-pressure pump fuel aspirated from a fuel tank is delivered via a low pressure line and at least one valve to a high-pressure pump, and some of the fuel stream is diverted to the return loop from the low pressure line at or upstream of the high-pressure pump. In the low pressure line, an electrically controlled flow regulating valve is inserted between the low-pressure pump and the high-pressure pump. The flow regulating valve splits the fuel stream supplied. One portion is delivered to the high-pressure pump, and the remainder is relieved into the return loop. The flow regulating valve requires little space and only a few connections and is simple to manipulate.

摘要: A method for starting up a vehicle includes driving a first wheel with an internal combustion engine vehicle drive and driving a second wheel with a hydrostatic additional drive. The hydrostatic additional drive has an adjustable hydraulic pump driven by the internal combustion engine, and at least one hydraulic motor coupled hydraulically thereto. The method further includes increasing and regulating a supply pressure of the at least one hydraulic motor in dependence on an accelerator pedal; determining a non-zero rotational speed of the first wheel; and synchronizing a rotational speed of the second wheel with the determined rotational speed of the first wheel. The method further includes increasing and regulating a supply pressure of the at least one hydraulic motor in dependence on an accelerator pedal; determining a non-zero speed of the vehicle; and adapting a rotational speed of the second wheel to the determined speed.

摘要: A hydrogen storage process that utilizes a porous hydrogen storage medium capable of adsorbing hydrogen atoms, and an apparatus for carrying out the process. The process entails applying a charge to the storage medium while displacing one or more hydrogen atoms stored on the storage medium to create one or more danglings bond on the storage medium, and then replacing the hydrogen atoms displaced from the storage medium with placeholders, thereby preventing the dangling bonds from bonding to adjacent dangling bonds within the storage medium.

摘要: A rollover detection apparatus and method are provided for anticipating a potential vehicle rollover event. The apparatus includes an input for receiving a plurality of input signals including sensed parameters of the vehicle. A first memory buffer stores data representative of one or more predetermined driving scenarios that represent possible rollover scenarios. A second memory buffer stores data representative of a history of recent conditions of the vehicle based on the plurality of sensed vehicle parameters. The apparatus further includes a processor for comparing the data representative of a history of recent driving events to the data representative of one or more predetermined driving scenarios. The processor further determines a possible rollover event of the vehicle based on the comparison and generates an output signal indicative thereof.
