Abstract:
An electrode assembly includes an electrode stack structure including a first electrode assembly sheet having flexibility and a second electrode assembly sheet having flexibility, where and the first and second electrode assemblies are alternately disposed one on another, and a binding unit which binds a portion of the electrode stack structure. The first electrode assembly sheet includes first and second separator films disposed to face each other, a first electrode sheet which is disposed between the first and second separator films and includes a first electrode collector and a first active material layer, and a first confining unit which restricts a movement of the first electrode sheet with respect to the first and second separator films.
Abstract:
A complex electrode assembly includes a first sheet-type wiring which extends in a lengthwise direction of the first sheet-type wiring and comprises a sheet region of which a width that is perpendicular to the lengthwise direction is greater than a thickness that is perpendicular to the lengthwise direction and a width direction of the first sheet-type wiring, and electrode assemblies which are arranged separate from each other in the lengthwise direction of the first sheet-type wiring and are electrically connected to the first sheet-type wiring. The first sheet-type wiring may be disposed to face an outer surface of each of the electrode assemblies.
Abstract:
An electrochemical device includes an electrode assembly in which a length direction, a thickness direction and a width direction are defined, and a packing member including a first packing film and a second packing film for packing the electrode assembly. The electrochemical device includes a bonded portion formed by bonding an edge of the first packing film with an edge of the second packing film. The bonded portion is configured to be bendable around an axis of the width direction, in a region in the length direction.
Abstract:
A cell structure for a secondary battery includes an electrode assembly including a plurality of electrodes, a plurality of electrode tabs extending from the electrodes to an outside of the electrode assembly, and a plurality of lead tabs electrically connected to the electrode tabs and contacting the electrode assembly. In the cell structure, a part of each of the lead tabs is folded, and the electrode tabs are inserted into the folded part of each of the lead tabs.
Abstract:
An electrochemical device includes a plurality of electrode assemblies arranged spaced apart from each other in a same direction and a casing member which packages the electrode assemblies, in which the casing member includes a plurality of accommodation portions which accommodates the electrode assemblies, respectively, and a connecting portion which connects between two adjacent accommodation portions, a thickness of the connecting portion is less than a thickness of the accommodation portions, and the connecting portion is bent defining a curved bending portion.
